I think you are incorrect, although I wouldnt mind Okafor , I am happy as hell we got Russell. This is a pg/sg driven league and he will hold us down for a while and factor in the fact all of the big FAs were all C/F's it made perfect sense. Oka will be good, but the days of a sit still big man are overwith. Russell was the much better pick at #2 and if you factor in if we got LMA or Deandre or Monroe or Love or...

that's the funny thing is I'm not even impressed that much by Okafor either. But I still think they should've drafted Okafor, signed Rondo (who is cool with Kobe) and then went after Lamarcus with Monroe as a b-plan

Its much harder to find your QB long term then a big man. Especially with the free agents available. And we CANT rely on Rondo anymore, yea Kobe might keep him in check this year... but next year if Kobe is gone? rondo will be sitting at half court bytching and moaning. I am happy with Russell and VERY happy the knicks fukked up by winning those 2 games helping us get #2 for him instead of #4+

Its no secret that hes a prima donna bytch and no one likes playing with him, there is prob 2-3 people in the league that could keep him in check. Kobe being one of them, but thats like what i said,,,,what happens when Kobe leaves? we lose our PG, he causes crazy shyt, people fighting, people leaving... not worth it.

There is a reason why he avg'd 10ast a game and no one going crazy for him
