I see it here in NY with garbage ass Brian Cashman who hasnt produced a great team beyond the Stick Michael created core four whose coatails Cashman has ridden. tbf, it's more the media blaming kobe than the front office themselves, but they are pretty damn incompetent in terms of pretty much everything.

My prediction is as soon as Kobe retires the Lakers will start attracting top level free agents without the FO having to lift a finger...

The concept of an organization with the prestige and Geography of the Lakers having to recruit anyone is foreign to me..

If your point is that its ultimately the FO's fault for resigning Kobe and giving him such a voice then I agree..
