I'm going on year three shytting on the Lakers front office. Dr. buss passing left a HUGE HOLE, replaced with the dumbest and incompetent front office I've seen in years.
Don't blame Kobe for signing the contract they offered him.
Don't blame Kobe for free agents not coming to LA.
This front office is ass going back to not spelling out that Dwight should have had the keys to the franchise, using Kobe "retirement tour" and the short term returns they would get in a huge send off, the Mike _'Antoni hire.
The lakers front office blowsand should be thankful for having Kobes selfish rep to hide behind. I see it here in NY with garbage ass Brian Cashman who hasnt produced a great team beyond the Stick Michael created core four whose coatails Cashman has ridden. tbf, it's more the media blaming kobe than the front office themselves, but they are pretty damn incompetent in terms of pretty much everything.

People forget how bad Kupchak's rep was before the Gasol trade(which happened b/c Memphis wanted to get rid of Pau). And people also ignored all the bad decisions he's made following that too and kept mentioning him as one of the best GM in the league

Not wanting to be part of signing a deal that to this day is still a historically shytty contract doesn't make him inept. It's not as if he's changed his tune on it. He still doesn't like it (as he should, it's an awful contract that nobody likes; Cashman helping turn A-Rod into an anti-hero doesn't change this whatsoever; it just makes him look bitter when at the moment he doesn't need to be).
Signing Headley? Sure.
Bringing Drew back? Sure.
Signing Beltran? Sure.
Keeping it 100 about A-Rod? Nah.
