Bears eat actual food though. They be in people houses and campsites in the fridge/cooler and shyt. and "safest" don't mean cuddly. I think we got the safest, some still deadly, just not Komoda dragon type of shyt. Hell I've seen videos of bears bouncing because some little lap dog barks at it. Bears just be hungry for actual grocery store food they don't be wanting no smoke. Them komodo dragons look like want smoke with every living thing.

Bears are considered man eaters. Human flesh may not be the leading choice to whet their appetite, but they do prey on humans. And Bears aren't the only one, or are we forgetting alligators and crocodiles, of which there are plenty in the U.S. I'll take a Komodo other either one any day of the week.

Cameras never so justice to animals though you underestimate how truly big these animals are. Half the wild can body the biggest humans with ease one on one
