lol @ saying "anyone can rap fast", and then trying to prop up a biggie & nas' sloppy as flows in the same breath.

:heh:

man im not gonna keep going back-n-forth in a repetition match. thats silly.

the bottom line is that people opposing your views on this song is nothing new in 2014. millions of people had the same opposing views back in 1997. YOU just werent exposed to it. and i understand, cuz im east coast too. just leave it at that.

and you know dam well that krayzie is just paying homage to the deceased. if the roles were reversed, you would be singing a different tune. lol.

biggie flipped the script? nobody was expecting it? LOL. are we gonna act like reverend run didnt just do it months before biggie? the whole biggie thing was just propaganda that just became the cool thing to say, to the point where people started taking it as fact.

lol @ krayzie going hard on the track. thats another tall tale. all he did was a watered-down rehash of a verse from an unreleased track. his original verse, and the song itself were better.

the only person that went all out for this track was biggie himself, taking the track home and not letting anybody hear his verse until it came out. if he did that on a song with an east coast group, people would be crying foul. not to mention that the bad boy camp themselves told the story, and also how bone was done when they did their verses. but i'll let yall continue basing your arguments off of false statements and assumpions. dont mind me.

and big still came up short. yall talk flow(LOL) and lyrics, but bizzy merked biggie in every category on here.

Nah Bone definitely went hard on the track. You are trying to slight Biggie there. Bizzy and Lazy had dope verses too. Biggie surprised folks straight up with the style switch. Folks were thinking no way he would twist when the collab was first mentioned. Popping in that CD though on first listen :ohlawd:

:what:

Biggie spitting the double time flow trumped everything/totally flipped the script, NOBODY was expecting that, and to top it off he killed it lyrically. Testament to how great an MC Biggie was. Krayzie knew what time it was, otherwise he wouldnt have went so hard on the track himself, hell he even admitted Big got them on the record.
Biggie didnt spit double time on that shyt...only nikkas who really wasnt familiar with double time or was riding the biggie wave thought he spit double time..

son I guarantee u can listen to a whole Bone Thugs album and feel that way cause u prolly don't understand what they sayin...but Biggie didn't kill anyone on that song..he had a memorable verse cause it was easy to recite and remember..not cause it was technically "the best"...im not even sayin Biggie aint a better rapper than them...im just speaking about the song specifically...unlike what nikkas try to say...he DIDNT kill them wit the own style..he barely spit double time the whole verse...he rode the beat pretty well but that's it...Jay is better at double time than Biggie...shyt...even Nas on "Heaven" does a more accurate double time flow as much as people say he's not too great at it....

lol @ jay being better than big at anything when he is a carbon copy of big

"easy to recite"? u think thats why ppl to this day say thats 1 of the best verses ever cuz its easy to recite?

Lmao

Having quotables and memorable lines and timeless shyt ppl will remember for ages is part of being a great rapper

not just putting together a bunch of words real fast..

Thats what seperates jayz from eminem

Nas from Big Pun

Biggie from bone etc

smh...Jay is not a "carbon copy" from Biggie...first off..Jay was doin the fast rap shyt from the beginning...he's more proficient at it than Biggie...look kid... when they was on the same tracks did they sound the same to u?...BK's Finest and I Love The Dough?...Jay rapped NOTHING like Biggie when Biggie was alive...carbon copy?..lol...did he bite Biggie lines?..absolutely...did Biggie's death benefit him?..absolutely...but him being a "carbon copy" is a joke...and im talking specifically about double time flows anyway...what the fukk are u even talkin bout?...damn fam...learn something...im not even gonna answer the latter part of ur post cause if ur suggesting that Big Pun or even Eminem didn't have memorable lines and timeless shyt as well making them great in their own way...I don't know what to tell u...and if u saying that Bone Thugs didn't have timeless shyt..ur age is showing...like always..
