im saying, there was some real talent there. granted, i dont think he was chitting on the entire label but still.

souljah boy, Tre, II Tru, graveyard shift.

i bet those artists chit on whoever krayzie is working with now.

They had flashes, but they could have given anybody their style and watched them flourish at that time.......


Would you really even think about entertaining/tolerating a Souljah Boy if he didn't come up under the Bone umbrella ......



If there was true talent one of them many Mo nikkas could have blown, the game was much different then everybody was selling, why no noise from none of the Mo members.........

Tre had a lil hit actually. they could sing real well. they left or broke up quick tho.

yea, i would check for souljah boy and Tre without bone.
II Tru & the unreleased GYS albums were legit dope. i wouldnt have checked for those two without bone tho. cant front.

SN: What Kray says about Mo needs to be taken with a grain of salt, although Mo was Lay's label, Kray was doing the beats production, dropping the hooks, and all that was Kray's baby, so he will forever be bitter about the situation. The Mo Thugs thing was a big part of the Kray vs Lay beef and Bone beefs to this day

ehh, you can say that about most people that put out other artists. at the end of the day, blowing up other artists enhances your profile & legacy. especially in bone's case. they had multi-platinum compilations filled with cats from their neighborhood. it gets no better than that.

- i doubt bizzy, flesh or wish wouldve came nicer on "thug devotion" than souljah boy.
- sure, "heart of it" wouldve been better as a bone song but it was still a classic.
- "ride with a playa" was pretty memorable as well. and i wouldnt have trusted a '98 bone thugs with that beat, to be honest. they wouldve did something sappy & soft on a beat like that.

as far as ressurrection goes, it went platinum in 2 weeks amongst some heavy competition. the problem is, the label didnt do its part. thats the real story of bone's career post-AOW.

I mean when Bone themselves admit it, it's time for people to accept reality. Biggie bodied Notorious Thugs. Period. But great interview. Also he made a great point about "Mo Thugs", it was kinda like a Junior Mafia situation where non-rapping dudes were put on. I mean the Mo Thugs albums actually aren't that bad but they were blowing up themselves so I was hard for them to focus on all those artist.

As for Kray being the Leader. For sure. He was the most centered one of the group. Bizzy had the chrisma but he was a loose cannon. Lazyie was just too chill to be the leader. And Wish definitely wasn't the leader. Flesh couldn't stay out jail at the time. I'd also agrue that Kray was the most lyrical and talented member. It's definitely between Kray and Bizzy. But Kray most def got the GOAT Bone Solo album:

most rap fans dont agree on chit. the people riding for biggie are usually people that dont know anything about that style of rap. ive never seen a legit double-time rap fan(not just bone fans) that thought biggie's verse was monumental. its always outsiders. the funny thing is, theres been people that came thru and outshined bone members in that style, but nobody says anything about it. da brat outsined krayzie on every joint they did together. and before all that, she outshined biggie too. nobody ever gives her props for any of it. go figure.

i remember word was that the label still wanted to do a "notorious thugs" video after biggie died, but bone didnt want to capitalize off his death. its crazy. we got robbed of that and there wouldve prolly been a "thug luv" video too.

i was just talking lyrics when i put flesh over krayzie. nothing to do with being a complete emcee.
