I don't like KRS no more cause he just think he's too dope. He let his ego take over his shyt and that's what brings him down. When he was like that (shouts “Blow It to Yourself”), when he was like that, then he was a ten but now, ‘I am Hip Hop’!!! Eat a dikk nicca. Eat a muthaphukkin dikk!

Chubb Rock really should rename this song "The Grammys" for the social media era

It was a celebration of 50 years of rap recordings for sale or something more like that

It catered to the "90's heads" like myself more than anyone who was alive long enough to listen to hip-hop for 50 years. It was for people who are far more attached to recorded rap music than any other aspect of hip-hop.

I'm not gonna knock any older artist who is skeptical of the Grammys but the idea that they ignored hip hop for 49 years is patently false. And for people bringing up Macklemore that fukk up resulted in the Grammys changing their entire setup so that the dominant voters in each category had to be artists/musicians/execs/etc who are predominantly from that field. The days of white rock execs having a say in who wins rap awards are over.

With vitriol towards bam shower shark.

Do you know what year the new set up took effect? I'm only asking because Eminem won the year after Macklemore and I'm pretty sure he didn't have the best rap album that year, either.
