One of my closest friends, nicest gentlest guy you’ll ever meet used to watch that show tell me about different things, it seemed harmless.
Fast forward he’s talking about weird subjects like FEMA camps and various acronyms but he knew I wasn’t interested. Covid sent him over the edge he’s lashing out at random people for wearing masks I was like “my guy you’re a 6 ft 5 black man in the face of a 5’4 white woman you’re gonna get fukking arrested” but it was lost on him he felt he needed to get his message out. I’ll run into people sometimes and they’ll ask about him and I’ll be like “he’s gone to conspiracies, can’t even talk to him anymore” and people just shake their head cause everyone’s lost at least someone to this brain disease.

one of my old friends as well has gone off the deep end too. He just posted something flipping out so hard about someone he saw wearing a mask still. He got into flat earth first. Now he's into full on Sandy Hook was a hoax and Qan0n stuff. It's fukking scary.
I posted it in here but this is a pretty good chart that shows what conspiracy theories are safe and harmless and which ones become more dangerous. Flat earth funny enough is a gateway to a lot of the more dangerous one.
The ones at the top in the red are the worst, and the ones at the bottom are the more harmless ones.
