You being allergic to facts doesnt make me an idiot

Get out your feelings, its pathetic

What's pathetic is your hate for that man. I really can't understand how people can hate him or the team. That dude worked hard as shyt on his game to get where he is. None of this shyt was handed to him. He wasn't highly sought after in HS and going to the pros people thought he would be nothing more than a shooter.

Why is it so hard for you to admit that he's good? Does it hurt that much?

I get what OP is saying. Athletes who are predominantly skill based obviously don't need an "athlete" physique.

The hatred stems from -
He really was insufferable.

It's almost as if the basketball Gods sent this Warriors squad to punish him for his past indiscretions - a squad that hot-lined, hot-song'd the '00s Suns' style, anchored by a player who is the evolution of Nash, and didn't have the run of bad luck that the '00s Suns had. It's no wonder he hates GS so much - they're everything those '00s Suns teams were, and MORE, and have multiple titles to show for it. Now he's doing everything in his power not to acknowledge how great this Warriors team is, because he spent all those years trying to get others to acknowledge those Suns teams.

I'm surprised he even watches basketball anymore after all the torment and pain.

Because Kyrie was already an NBA level player in high school. His senior yr at St Pats was ridiculous. He was already better than alot of nba guards. Curry progressed over time. Kyrie already had it

Steph is the one player who surprised me ...I did not see his game translating to the NBA ...def didn't think he'd be the superstar that he's become....and for that reason is why I became a fan of his...

Ridiculous? Look at who you're responding to. That's all Profasi knows.

The night where everyone (well, more specifically those who were behind play) realized that not only would Curry be a great NBA player, but one of the best in the league. You know before miserable, delusional, hypocritical, insufferable ass muh'fukkas started regurgitating nonsense about the existence of "The Agenda", before Kerr was even coach, and before LeBron stans would use him as one of their many surrogates for all their insecurities and bitterness.

terrance ross has a 50 point game too
nobody thought he would be a top 5 player after one good game :mjlol:
perfect example of how hindsight is 20-20

his major success started in 14-15 after steve kerr started running all those illegal screens and klay thompson blossomed into a killa
put curry on the knicks and he would be damian lillard status at best

also, the league instructed referees to look the other way because they didn't want bron stunting and treating their billion dollar league like his 2k career mode

The problem is everyone buys into the Highschool mixtape hype/promo train

Anyone who watched Curry closely at Davidson knew what he had potential to be in the NBA.

It’s just people would rather find reasons to doubt him and bank on “sure things” in the draft like size and athleticism.

But like someone said the nba draft and lottery is all luck and surface based.

Nobody knew what kind of character and inner drive was motivating curry to be great

Also he got into the NBA as it was kinda changing and becoming more 3 pointer focused

I’d say in a way the NBA and warriors changed to encourage Curry’s style of play.

But even before that He was always considered one of the best shooters. and that’s enough to get you in the nba and stay on a team

He kept improving all other aspects of his game and now he’s a 2 time MVP

Kyries been great from day 1 in the league but I don’t think he’s improved as drastically as Curry. I don’t even think he was ever expected to.

But he’s always been promoted as the more exiciting and marketable one.

In that aspect nothing has changed from Highschool, to college and the NBA

Eh, even when he was in the nba, nobody saw Steph being STEPH, until he actually became it.

Thread and nikkas agreeing with OP aint never play no ball. Dumb logic. This isnt football. ANYONE can be a hooper. Top tier hooper. Dont matter what they look like. Skinny 5'11 kid with no facial hair could be out there murdering grown man on the court. The basketball is the great equalizer and no one can "look" like they cant use it. Maybe like you SHOULD, but never that you cant. Any nikka that grew up on the courts can tell you that. Pour jelly on yourselves.
