If you had a store, would you give your stuff away for free? If someone repeatedly stole from you, would you want them to face no consequences? There is no incentive not to steal if there is no consequence. This is where society is heading. People are doing whatever they want. Kids see this. Anyone with common sense teaches their kids not to do this, but if they see people doing it, and getting away with it, why should they follow the rules?
