There has to be a law stopping people who overcharge rent to people. Rent should be no more than 1k per month in a decent neighborhood under this law, or even lower.

I'd like to see some type study of rent:median income ratio for big cities....and just see how out of control it's gotten.

I wouldn't go that far as a 1k per month cap, but it's with good understanding... if people weren't paying as much in rent, they have more money to spend elsewhere.. these people could spend more money in their own neighborhoods and support small businesses.

Real estate folks are literally sabotaging the economy y with their outrageous rent and housing prices.

You charge what you can get. I swear y'all socialists kill me. If there is someone willing to pay you 1800 for a shytty 1 bedroom, then you're not charging too much, you're charging market rate. No one complains when they go looking for jobs and there is someone willing to pay them more than they're worth or what they expected.

What do black group economics and a higher minimum wage have to do with one another? First, min wage suggests you working for cacs and the man, that's not acceptable here on the coli!

Secondly, black business tend to generate less revenue and have access to fewer sources of capital, a higher minimum wage stifles their ability to hire, grow, and turn profits...so which is it?

Pretend black people are not overrepresented in the lower class brehs. Increasing the minimum wage would strengthen the purchasing power of the black people as a whole, and provide an opportunity. Rather than having these people be slaves to a minimum wage job and then have to use food stamps, live in subsidized housing, etc.

Also, you listed issues that would face any small business, not just black businesses. What I wrote above goes hand in hand with this.

its like they never learn from history.. the housing market is rising QUICK in the bay to what it was when it crashed :mindblown: we BARELY getting outta a recession and about to immediately go back into one :heh:

since 2008 a lot of houses were $150-400k depending where you wanted to live in the bay and upwards of $500k in the real nice places.

Now the $150k houses are $250-300k, the $250k houses are $350-400k , etc.. :stopitslime:

san jose wanting $800k for regular ass houses in regular ass neighborhoods again :laff: fukk outta here :laff:

If a business can't afford to pay it's employees a barely livable wage then it SHOULD close down or the owners can do everything themselves :manny:

fukk outta here :heh:

or how about we as business owners just make everything commission/draw based :leon:
