This is the first game I was truly disgusted by a Lakers performance. AD'S inability to put together two consecutive great games, the carelessness with the ball, the laziness, etc...

But this team's defense is what makes them contenders. At 5:13 left in the 4th, it was 97-90 Memphis, with Bane having the game of his career...

Last 10:13 of the 4th and OT Lakers closed the game on a 27-14 run. The way the Lakers lock down on defense is something special to see, they've got the most dominant defense in basketball right now...

There's alot to say about their offensive lapses, though they put together timely runs more often than not. But their defense is gonna keep them in any series with anyone...
