As long as the relationship isn't lopsided, why would doing something nice for your partner be a BAD thing?

am i tripping though?
its the equivalent of dating an anorexic chick and spending hours cooking her steak and lobster and potatoes.
She won't fully appreciate it and get scared even though no other guy cooked and treated her this well.
