Because these guys aren't Lakers fans. They are Kobe stans. They have adopted his same parasitic attitude not understanding toxic leadership destroys organizations. They don't understand Dwight or any other person will never measure up to Kobes obsession with winning. Only other person who matches that type of will is MJ. Even during the repeat there were questions about Shaq's focus. :aicmon: who the fcku questions multiple finals mvp's focus. A toxic leader does that. They don't realize this brand of leadership is an anomaly. You could say today that Lebron, Tim and other great players aren't nearly as toxic to their teammates and organization as Kobe is and they've won rings. In Tim's case multiple.

This leader happens to have been great. Most toxic leaders aren't great. They are just in a position where there is poor oversight. Kobe was great but he's on his last legs. Lakers will come to a crossroad like they did with Shaq. Keep an aging star or go for the younger, hungrier talent. If they choose Kobe, smush parker years are ahead of them. This organization will experience a dark future. If they choose Dwight they have a future. But they won't choose Dwight because they are at the point where their leader is toxic and not great while having poor oversight from upper management.

:wow:

In 2014 the Lakers will basically only have Howard ($22m) and Nash ($9.7m) assuming they dont re-sign any of their other players from 2013/2014. The Lakers could then add another star ($19m) as a FA but then it gets tough. Since there are less than 12 players signed, nine times the rookie minimum for $4.5m total is added to the count for cap calculation. That adds to $22m + $9.7m + $19m + $4.5m = $55.2m already counted on a $58m salary cap.

What do you have to offer to get that third star? The Lakers would have no trade ability since they wouldn't have players to trade and any new players would have to come from FA, the draft, minimum salaries, or exceptions. The best they would really have to offer a FA is an MLE of $5m.

In 2015 the Lakers would have Howard ($24m) and their new star ($21m) assuming they don't re-sign anybody else again. Add that rookie minimum for ten for $5m and the total is $50m on a probable cap of $60m. Then what do they offer to get that third star? Is $10m enough? Even then if they do get one, it is 2 stars, a middle star, and minimums at best for the fill ins.

If the Lakers want to get a third superstar, somebody is going to have to take a big pay cut.

The only other way the Lakers can use their extra spending power is by using it on the players they already have in 2013 and extending them ... such as for Gasol, Kobe, MWP and so on.

WP is and has always been a starter, how is he not a factor? Without WP coming through in the last championship run, your beloved Kobe has 1 less ring.
I'm talkin' about right now. Dwight and Kobe are stars. WP is not a star. Cats are like "oh he won't try that shyt on WP" and I'm saying what for. WP is a shell of his former self. nothing is really expected of WP. WP would come off the bench if the Lakers had a better option at the 3

People are "celebrating" that they finally had a meeting to air things out (something they should have done 6 games ago).

The shyt with Dwight is more funny than anything. :heh:

How many times has he called Gasol out in public? Isn't there a Kobe quote telling Gasol to put his "big boy pants on"? Didn't he also say something else about kicking people asses? That's what the fukk I'm talking about. You cs'ers love giving Kobe props for supposedly "sonning" gubut of caring about their feelings, but you cry when he gets called a "bully". You fanboys or quite bytchy when it comes to Kobe. It's feminine behavior.

Ohhh, I remember you now. You love the term fanboy and other silliness of that sort. I'm sorry for evening entertaining anything you said in the first place. And nothing you said above explains why, he routinely criticized Shaq PUBLICLY, was willing to fight Shaq, publicly asked Lebron if he wanted a cookie. Like I said, he says what the fukk is on his mind. He doesn't "bully" anybody, he says what he thinks about whoever.

I expect fanboy this and fanboy that, so have fun continuing to try to paint Kobe as a "bully" eventhough I have provided examples of him pulling no punches with people who are clearly not "soft".

Well you should've stopped right here then because this is exactly where I stopped reading. You're probably a homosexual.

Shaq slapped that nikka, stop it :russ:

Shaq slapping him or not has ZERO to do with the claim that he is a bully or is selective about who he is willing to call out. Which is the point I was addressing in the first place. You stay in my mix, mind yo fukking business! Or at least have a point pertinent to what the fukk is going on. You stay offering up your opinion or quoting me like I give a fukk what you think. Unlike these other nikkas around here I'm not impressed by your every word.

Gawd Damn you on point with that. He absolutely respects people who down completely bow down to him. That's why Matt Barnes was on the squad and he wanted Raja Bell here too. And like you said that's why him and Ron get along so well.

So he's like a loudmouth bytch with a nasty attitude always yapping who wants a thug to put her in her place?

I stay going at you cause you make such horrible points, like dudes not scoring on people cause they're using screens :russ: And the fact you have to mention that you're not "impressed" by me is telling. I ain't here to impress anyone, you just view me on an elevated level, if you didn't give a fukk you wouldn't have to mention it :smugbiden:
