This is hilarious. Let me ask you this, why is he a choker when folks said he couldn't even play QB in the NFL? So is Josh Allen underachieving?could end up with 2 MVPS and not even make the SB and than the narrative turns to he's a huge choker
Remember when Allen started nobody thought he would be a good NFL quarterback either...This is hilarious. Let me ask you this, why is he a choker when folks said he couldn't even play QB in the NFL? So is Josh Allen underachieving?
But my point is why are we not holding him to the same standard? He was taken before Lamar and a lot of people believe he's has the most potential of all QBs so why do we not say he's underachieving since a guy who was told he couldn't play the position has more MVPs than him. I like Allen and think he's a great QB, I don't even think he's the fault for the Bills failures but it's funny how Lamar gets held to a different standard.Remember when Allen started nobody thought he would be a good NFL quarterback either...
I'd say Lamar already has a bit of a reputation as a choker, he simply has not been good in the playoffs. He's got to change this because right now he's Manning. Granted, that's still more of a compliment than a diss, but early Manning was this dominant Regular Season Warrior who played substandard every time he hit the postseason...
I’m saying that’s how fast the script can flip on a narrativeThis is hilarious. Let me ask you this, why is he a choker when folks said he couldn't even play QB in the NFL? So is Josh Allen underachieving?
Well Josh hasn't peaked as high as Lamar so simply put there aren't as many eyes on him. And because Lamar is excelling after being told to switch positions, look Allen is polarizing but Lamar is just a higher profile player. He was better than Allen to start their careers, he peaked higher than Allen, he's better than Allen now...But my point is why are we not holding him to the same standard? But before the season no one was saying an of this. Hel you had people saying that he wasn't worth the contract after we lost to the Colts. And that's the problem I have. Lamar continues to prove people wrong and they keep moving the goalposts. While everyone else gets excuses made for them. And you are proving my point. None of this was said when he was trying to get a new contract. None of this was said prior to us going to SF and now folks are comparing him to all time greats. Why can't he be compared to his peers currently playing, who other than Mahomes are very far behind.Well Josh hasn't peaked as high as Lamar so simply put there aren't as many eyes on him. Also, winning an MVP in Y2 is some Marino shyt, all eyes are gonna be on you. And Allen has also led an AFC Championship run and multiple playoff wins...
The heat is coming soon for Allen too, the deeper he gets into his career with no extensive playoff success. I truly believe that...
Let him win a Super Bowl first before we start talking legacies
Shaun Alexander, Boomer Esiason, Ken Anderson and Steve McNair all have MVPs aren't in the HOF
Forget the big game, he’s not even making out the first round. This year they gotta show something.Peyton Manning couldn’t win the big game, until he did.
John Elway couldn’t win the big game, until he did.
Andy Reid couldn’t win the big game, until he did.
Lamar will be fine - irrelevant of what happens to the Ravens in the upcoming playoffs.
Bruh, during the contract disputes, you have to remember his MVP was 3 years prior. In that 3 years, he hasnt played in the playoffs, he'd finished the previous two years injured, and his playoff career he'd lost 3 of his 4 games. There was cause to hesitate on giving him the money...But before the season no one was saying an of this. Hel you had people saying that he wasn't worth the contract after we lost to the Colts.
