looking at the trillion dollars in student loan debt most young muhfukkas with certs starving or working Ina field completely unrelated :unimpressed:

School in this case doesn’t have to be college necessarily. I’m just talking about finding ways to train and better yourself. LEARNING something. You can go to a trade school that won’t fukk up your pockets and actually grow.

….or you can sit in mom dukes basement thinking about how your somehow gonna hit the genetic lottery (after the fact) and dribble your way out. The odds are not in the average person’s favor. Get money.

I mean I wasn’t born with the genetics and skill set as he has to play basketball but if I was I’d agree. And also acknowledge that it’s multiple pathways to success.

bingo I think that’s where folks get it fukked. The will to learn and the process of learning through school are 2 different beats. As long as a person is willing to learn they’ll always do better than those that don’t

as a person who went to college I can firmly tell you it’s a scam and I learned way more on my first day in The job. School ain’t shyt and don’t really prepare or teach you

Ultimately, people go to college for a profession. He’s a professional athlete who didn’t need school to play basketball. There are MANY college graduates who don’t even work in the field they graduated in.

Some might say “what about life after sports?” I’ll use KG as an example. He didn’t have the best public school education and he was academically ineligible to even attend college. If you heard KG speak when he first got drafted compared to now, there’s a stark difference. Experience and exposure is the education.
