He's making fun of the fact that Melo is talking about how he doesn't need school, yet doesn't under basic statistics. Not every college athlete is making it to the pros or make millions of dollars like that to not need a college degree.

The average G-League player is only making $35,000 a year and the majority of them are comprised of former college athletes that Melo is talking about.
