I don’t think you realize how good Shaun Livingston was supposed to be. 6’9 point guard that can pass and set up anybody. Lamelo is that with a better jump shot in a league designed for all offense.

He's currently a 6'8 ball handler that can legitimately pass and create for others. I don't think he'll ever be as explosive as Lonzo, but he's already shown an ability to be crafty around the rim and finish better than his brother did at UCLA.

A PG with his length and playmaking ability deserves to be a lottery pick, but everyone knows the elephant in the room is his broken shot. If he can genuinely improve that aspect of his game the ceiling's high.

He has special feel and passing ability that can't be taught. It's way beyond his years..

He's a 6 ft 8 point guard and possibly still growing.

He won't be impactful right away in terms of shooting and defense, but those are things he can work on. His appeal isn't right away. He's not gonna come in and dominate like Zion. His appeal is down the line in a few years what do you have? A pg who's probably close to 6 10 if he keeps growing. Who you have cleaned up his shooting and improved his body and athleticism..Part of it taking him a while to do so is his genetics like his dad said. It'll take him a couple of years...

Hes not gonna be a bust. The impact might not be there right away.. He might be trash defensively but so is Trae young. He just needs to works on his body and shooting..

My biggest question mark really is his impact.
