The saddest part about all this is thinking about the :mjcry: face on the tall kid as Lavar's ass keeps him from getting to place basketball.

If anything those schools and coaches should be trying to expose Melo.

I feel like the shoe companies or important money is behind the scenes of this move. They don’t want anyone else trying what Lamelo did

This.
People keep saying these schools are trying to make a point about amateurism, no they ain't. :mjlol:

Also, Lamelo is still considered an amateur by the rules in place.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
man dude doesn't look right i hope no homo he fills out and has a long career ahead of him
sounds like he's in the right place.... he's so damn gangly and skinny is the problem, but they're working on it

Bobroczky is on a different path than most high school basketball players. The choice to attend the SPIRE Institute – an officially certified United States Olympic and Paralympic training facility – was designed to help him reach his full potential.

"Robert is on the court six days a week," Bossman said. "We work on a lot of footwork drills, and it's extremely important that we keep building up his endurance and increase his mobility. He does speed, strength and agility training four days a week. He also meets with our physical therapist three times a week and sports psychologist twice a week for mental training."

At 91 inches and 190 pounds, bulking up is an obvious priority.

"We do weight training to harden his core and he's also in the pool three times a week with our trainers strengthening muscle groups," Bossman said. "He eats three meals a day along with protein and meal replacement shakes. The main thing is ensuring we give him enough calories in his diet, and we're in the adaptive stage to see how his body responds."

By what rules in place? :why:

LaMelo wouldn't have a chance of being considered an amateur under OSHAA rules or any other rules. He only got onto Spire because his daddy (brother?) paid the $60,000 admission fees and Spire gets to make up their own rules. They aren't under any governing body whatsoever.

Those other shady schools aren't about to give up a competitive advantage to Spire by letting them recruit European pros onto their team, so they drew a line. Ain't no shoe companies care about Melo like that. :mjlol:

so far schools that are sponsored by nike have pulled out

also these schools aren't recruiting high school kids from europe because the development system there begins paying kids immediately

You're buying the BBB line like Spire has some sort of rules or something. Spire ain't got no eligibility rules. They don't belong to anything.

And every elite high school is sponsored by a shoe company.

Everywhere...You never there.
Chess not checkers.

These schools are all going to pull out against Spire. They're not giving any airtime to the LaMelo mixtapes.

He couldn't up his value overseas so they won't entertain him to have him gain value as a ranked prospect.

The hubris of a man shall be his undoing.

The team’s withdrawal (and the likely subsequent withdrawal by other teams) is a shot at Var and what he’s tried to do in creating his own system ...high key. :mjpls:

They’re not nearly as concerned about Melo and some fuzzy “pro” status he arbitrarily attained from a gloridied Rec League that plays in the middle of a cow pasture, especially since he didn’t accept money.

Stay woke :sas2:
