i didn't say that, thats what the fukking schools said themselves and I was going off that. It's in the OP dumbass. At the end of the day he played for the Lith team for free and that was common knowledge from day 1, so your fakkit cac ass can sit here and play semantics all you want. Suck a dikk :camby:
right. its in the OP because thats what the issue is here. hes been in a league where folks are paid to play basketball. hes a professional basketball player trying to play amateur high school basketball. play in europe or the g league, you made your bed

so if he was in a higher level of competition in the american amateur system why did he leave for europe¿

he went to europe to play against lower tier talent to not train & to do all that for free¿

:dahell:

explain the bbb playbook here¿

*

He went to Europe because of LiAngelo's situation + Lavar was having beef with Chino Hills new coach. Those two things happened around the same time so he made the Europe move. Old coach was Lavar's puppet but new coach was standing his ground. They were also able to build their brand further in Europe. Also, from the Slam article it seems like coming back to HS was Melo's idea not his dads.

Im not saying Melo was playing against lower tier talent. It was nikkas on here that said he was playing agsinst nothing but trash, and that the elite HS prospects of his class were better. So now he's back to play against them and the schools are saying nah because he's a pro and they're uncomfortable? You're talking about he went through pro regimens and it's unfair. Im just asking which one is it? Mind you im not even in favor of Melo coming back to HS, I rather he stayed in Europe.

Also y'all keep discounting the most salary they could've got was $500 a month. Its not like they turned down a huge salary to play for free. They passed on peanuts and instead invested into the team.

list these "many athletes" that went pro, then decided to come back to the amateur level of that sport? you cant take your toe out of the amateur pool to test the pro waters, find them a bit deep, then decide to go back to amateur. pick a lane
Tons of European bust in the nba. But regardless what’s the harm in it? He still 17. Where’s the harm? I’ll wait

so ultimately it was just about branding & bbb at the sacrifice of meLLLo building his resume properly¿*

this nikka LaMelo already got billboards in Ohio.

cacs and c00ns hate seeing nikkas do things the way they want. These shoe companies and private schools already giving money on the low to the families of these HS players......Oak Hill and Lieumere are both Nike schools.

He's 17 and would be playing against other elite 17 year olds. He'll be playing way better competition then he would if he was still at Chino Hills HS. What you talking about?

A lot of nikkas here said elite HS players are better than the 18-25 year olds Melo was playing in Europe. He played against Euroleague B Teams and nikkas here said that wasn't shyt.....so it shouldn't be an issue for him to play Oak Hill and other elite schools.

thats just internet nikkas with no power talking shyt....

these white people that run these high schools looking at this waaaayyyyyy different

right....

those schools recruit from all over the country
But are they recruiting players from pro leagues?
It's about letting Spire get away with basically picking up a pro midway through the season. They're trying to set a line regarding what they're letting each-other get away with recruiting wise.
Yup.

You let them do this, everything changes when you got scouts going overseas to recruit teenagers in pro leagues to play high school ball

No i think it was about playing against good competition/grown men as well. I personally think Melo benefitted from playing grown men which is why I'd like for him to stay in Europe rather than play at Spire. I seen growth in his game from the LKL to the JBA Tour.

my point is that Y'ALL were saying he was playing against useless trash and it was pointless.....and now some of y'all are on this "yeah he played pro it's not fair to play against high school players...he was on a pro regimen". It's either one or the other.

I wouldunderstand if normal high schools were cancelling, but Oak Hill and Lumiere have a lot of fukking nerve trying to get on their high horse. Those school recruit players from all over the country and have had many future NBA players on their rosters.

Bruhs trying to act like they shook of LaMelo :mjlol:

They just making a statement that you can't shyt on highschool basketball and think you're above it, then come back a year later :yeshrug:

If that was the case, Spire wouldn't even have accepted LaMelo. Those other teams looking very soft right now.

Nah, Spire is getting shytted on too for accepting him. I'd imagine Oak Hill as at least 1 or 2 players on Melo's level or better

These schools and probably other outside influences don't like how Lavar has handled all of this, and they not gonna let them back in. Right or wrong
