they not finna let meLLLo come back & fraud it up against children that will never be pros

if you are gonna leave the amateur system then leave it alone altogether don't use it for target practice

meLLLo a pro grade talent right¿ then put him up against some real pros & elite talent

Corny move by the school. Melo might've played pro but he is still only 17. It's not like he a full grown man tryna flex on teenagers. Just more cacs mad that Lavar and Co are doing whatever they want out here. No elite HS is innocent when it comes to obtaining players.

So they're saying LaMelo is on a whole other level after playing against Lithuanian journeymen?

I thought LaMelo wasn't going to benefit from that?

I can't keep up with the narratives. Is it oochie wally wally or is it one mic?

Exactly....which one is it? :patrice:

He's 17 and would be playing against other elite 17 year olds. He'll be playing way better competition then he would if he was still at Chino Hills HS. What you talking about?

A lot of nikkas here said elite HS players are better than the 18-25 year olds Melo was playing in Europe. He played against Euroleague B Teams and nikkas here said that wasn't shyt.....so it shouldn't be an issue for him to play Oak Hill and other elite schools.

the ether
That's soft as fukk

Wouldnt you want your team to get experience against tough competition :gucci: they basically admitting they wanna coddle their teams

It has absolutely nothing to do with how "tough" LaMelo is, these schools got superior talent.

It's about letting Spire get away with basically picking up a pro midway through the season. They're trying to set a line regarding what they're letting each-other get away with recruiting wise.

There could also be an FU element to LaVar for thinking he could shyt all over the high school and college system and then try to come back and use it for his own benefit.

LaMelo wasn't killing no grown euro pros. :mjlol:

He absolutely sucked it up in the actual Lithuanian pro league, then played around in joke exhibition games against their scout teams. :francis:

the issue is he gave up his amateur status by playing for a check, then when that dried the fukk up he wants to get back in the amateur pool. 2 schools have told him and his team to kick rocks. You pass on high school and college for a check? Fine, but those doors should be locked shut. Hit up the G league

nikka the coaches ain't for the semi-pro shyte

if staying in the amateur system was better competition he should've never went for the cash grab overseas

with the amateur system they want to be the only circus in town bbb stepped outside of that they not finna make it simple to step right back

Melo isn't that good, he'll probably get a shot in the league but he's not any better than a late first round talent.

Everyone on those two squads will play for high majors, and quite a few will make the league. I'm not really a big Cole Anthony fan even, but he would have washed Melo.
