the issue is he gave up his amateur status by playing for a check, then when that dried the fukk up he wants to get back in the amateur pool. 2 schools have told him and his team to kick rocks. You pass on high school and college for a check? Fine, but those doors should be locked shut. Hit up the G league

He didn't play for a check....every single issue involving the Balls y'all casually throw out inaccuracies. The HS is saying they dont want their kids playing against a pro....that's it....y'all adding extra shyt that's not even true.

“Professional” by definition is someone who is paid to do something. Who’s adding extra shyt?

Breh it was already stated when the Ball Brothers signed with the Lith team that they were playing for free. This was reported a year ago.The most the team plays their players is $500 a month so they said fukk the salary and Lavar actually invested into the team to help them pay their debts off. Thats why they had their BBB logos everywhere and their own tournament when they were out there. They didn't accept any money. You're adding extra shyt because y'all always want to comment on these nikkas but never have the facts straight.

thats not these HS's are alleging though. They're just saying they dont want their kids playing someone who's played pro. They aren't saying he is ineligible they just saying they're uncomfortable.
playing pro & going through a pro regimen is an advantage right¿

maybe they feel like playing against kids who weren't on a professional schedule with whole days dedicated to skill development film study strength training etc. isn't fair¿

what if all the bluechips took a year+ off to play pro get better then come back to film some highlights against competition caught up in the amateur system¿

:troll:

bbb better stay in they lane why they tryna go backwards i thought they had destroyed the amateur system & evolved beyond it¿

Chess not checkers.

These schools are all going to pull out against Spire. They're not giving any airtime to the LaMelo mixtapes.

He couldn't up his value overseas so they won't entertain him to have him gain value as a ranked prospect.

The hubris of a man shall be his undoing.

That's soft as fukk

Wouldnt you want your team to get experience against tough competition :gucci: they basically admitting they wanna coddle their teams

Blackballed/balling :picard:

^That to the second quote. Montverde was offered to play them too but said no thanks. Don’t think that was mentioned yet. It has nothing to do with fear of Lamelo but the fact that no one believes he’s really eligible. So not only did he not sign with an agent, the kid was never paid at all? People in here believe that? You had recruits laughing at this entire notion. These prep powerhouses turning him down makes it worst for Melo. Do you know how corrupted these schools are, and they are turning him down. Think about it.

What’s arbitrary? He can’t play college ball. Why should he be able to play high school ball? He aint there for school. So why let him play? He packed up and chose to go pro. Great. When that fizzled out he just decides to give high school ball another go and these schools should cater to him? Join the g league
This logic doesn’t hold up. What does the NCAA have to do with high school? They don’t operate under the same rules. You just created an arbitrary connection. Many athletes aren’t at universities or high school for school? What hs is catering to him? By allowing him to transfer? a move that many hs athletes make every single year?

i didn't say that, thats what the fukking schools said themselves and I was going off that. It's in the OP dumbass. At the end of the day he played for the Lith team for free and that was common knowledge from day 1, so your fakkit cac ass can sit here and play semantics all you want. Suck a dikk :camby:

list these "many athletes" that went pro, then decided to come back to the amateur level of that sport? you cant take your toe out of the amateur pool to test the pro waters, find them a bit deep, then decide to go back to amateur. pick a lane
