What is wrong with you?
What? Havent entered this thread in a minute, but when i did it was only upped when lance washaving a good game, plus u only enter Harden related threads when its benefits your bias against him. I'm not watching the miami pacers game but i'm jsut guessing he's having a great game.

I haven't even posted in this thread before today.

Nah. You don't know my posting moves, that's why I mix you every time when you come with your black and white bullshyt.

No he isn't having a 'great game', he hasn't had one of those since forever. While Harden has 'somewhat' improved his game, we might as well compare Lance to Austin Rivers at this point.

Actually, Indiana would be insane to make that trade in this specific season. A ball dominant scorer who plays poor defense would be a horrible fit for a team set up the way they are.

Man.. hate it had to be you Walt but I had to up this part right here

All good, I still feel that way. When you structure a team in a very specific way, you don't make trades that run counter to that structure. Harden would play the same role as George, and play no defense. Same reason OKC let him go - Ibaka plays a role they need, Harden doesn't. Also, they pay Lance peanuts, so he's a bargain. As far as who is better between Lance and Harden, you won't catch me jumping out the window on that one.

Breh, but he'll get them the buckets they desperately need. You can live with him playing minimal defense on that squad.

Well James has proven for 2 seasons to excel in that role - It would allow PG to fall back to the secondary scorer he is

Indiana's offense is a complete mess, so whatever structure they have in place isnt working. Their offensive problems center around shaky perimeter play ... Harden is an elite offensive weapon, his poor defense wouldnt take away from what the Pacers do

Yeah, but you're saying this while they're in a nosedive and the offense has broken down. At the time, PG was coming into his own and the bigger concern was Lance as a facilitator and defender who was setting up dudes on the block.

James Harden is currently a #1 option, which is not what the Pacers have needed until this recent collapse. If you have Harden, you basically render PG impotent. While ruining your payroll. It'd be like the Bulls trading JoNo for Kevin Love. Kev Love doesn't fit what Thibs does, regardless of the numbers.

Yeah, but what you're saying is based on an unprecedented collapse. At the time I made that post, the Pacers just came off a season where they were a game away from beating the Heat, and were playing their best basketball ever. You don't blow that up, period.

Pacers didn't nosedive, their offense has always been ass. Everyone on that team was playing above their heads and PG is not a 1st option.
