you talsmbout fukk'n heresay.
not facts and actual proven substantial facts to the event that occurred.
which are in this case on film.

No, I'm talking about what the actual news article says about what went down. You're ignoring all facts in this case in order argue about what's on this 10 second video clip.

Alot of people in here seem to be so adamant about the landlord being at fault because of something personal.

Sorry y'all had to deal with someone harassing you for late rent.

But this landlord literally LIVED in that home and was trying to get in. To be pushed like that is some fukk shyt

The landlord lived there? Im confused.

Who were the 2 men in his house?

Why would he be knocking on his own door?

This doesnt make any se sense

Alot of yall have spent the last 6 pages talking straight out of your ass :mjlol:

As someone is currently suing a former landlord, i can tell you for a matter of fact that the landlord is not allowed to force themself into the apartment if you deny them entry.

This is why they call police for evictions.

Is is still manslaughter? Of course it is, a man is dead. But acting like the landlord was in the right is completely incorrect. Ask any landorld/Tennant lawyer you know and they will tell you the same.
What i'm confused about is i hearing conflicting accounts.

Basically there a three stories floating around at the moment all of which have different implications.

story 1) Landlord came to the house to evict tenant, got pushed to his death.

story 2) Tenant broke into house after he had already been evicted, landlord returned to discover intruder, got pushed to his death.

Story 3) Landlord allowed tenant to return for his stuff after being evicted, got into a confrontation, died.

Story 2 i feel like Tenant is clearly at fault. Story 1 i feel like Landlord is clearly at fault. Story 3, i don't know.

Could barely understand what he saying. I feel like english aint his first language.
He's basically saying that every fact that's come out about this case is meaningless because he's strictly going off what he seen in the video and creating his own narrative based off that.

Dude has always been a little slow.

Correct.

The problem is that the landlord also lived at the address, and you cannot deny him entry when he lives there and you just broke in with a power drill.

The landlord lived at the address, the dude was renting a room from him and didn't pay rent so he was asked to leave. Landlord changed the lock and tried to hold the tenant's property hostage until he paid $200 in missed rent.

Tenant breaks in with a power drill to get the rest of his stuff, while keeping the landlord outside. Landlord fights to get in and gets pushed onto the concrete.

That's how I understand the story.

Both parties were fukking up, but I think the tenant took it too far by breaking in and causing the confrontation. He should have called the cops, and let the cops talk to the man about getting his stuff, but now he's lost his freedom.

The old man, shouldn't have been renting out rooms in the first place cause like someone else pointed out, that's illegal in new York. He was giving the tenant a really good deal on rent and felt like his kindness was being taken advantage of, so he took drastic measures in trying to hold onto tenants belongings in order to get something back. He should have took it to court, and now he's dead.
