To be fair the media Hovengers wrote Kingdom Come, R. Kelly and Linkin Park albums out the canon so most the audience don't even remember them joints :heh:

I can agree with this...while I think Jay was pretty inconsistent in the 00's where every other album was so-so, BP, Black Album and AG were three strong releases. Nas started the 00's with a bang but cooled off around the mid-00's. It hasn't been close for the past fifteen years though, Nas has been whopping him since Untitled IMO. And the Hit-Boy run just made it unfair lol.

First you, eliminated American Gangster for some strange reason. But besides that , listing it out doesn’t show anything unless you already preferred Nas to Jay in the first place and you’re invested in this non-existent rivalry between two entirely different types of artists. There’s 0 reason to compare either of them post 2003. They aren’t even consumed the same way by the public.

This is like comparing Kendrick and Drake when they went in completely different directions. But for argument’s sake, the majority of albums listed for both artists were not well received by the public but the best Jay albums were better received than the best Nas albums. And it’s very strange to end at 2009 for Jay and then include 3 albums from the last decade for Nas.
