I have no doubt that JLO has African ancestry however I've seen what her parents and grandparents look like so I know it is nothing recent. Most Latinos do not have a black parent or grandparent, but they may have a black great grandparent or great-great grand parent.

Colombia has the 3rd most largest blk population in the western hemisphere.
Only 4-6% of enslaved Africans were brought to the United states, over 80% were brought to the Carribean and Latin America...
