Right, Rubio was playing pro since 15, he came up through that system. I think Lamelo is probably more naturally talented than Rubio, but he can only play one way, is spoiled, doesn’t want to guard anybody, and hasn’t been playing “real” basketball since AAU ended.

These coaches feed their family off basketball; this isn’t playing for Lavar or some high school coach with a teacher salary guaranteed. They won’t put up with any of that half court shot, not playing defense BS.

Teams will bring them over for a sideshow, but this doesn’t seem like a good idea for 2 kids who are used to having whatever they want, when they want it.
