The only ones that will probably benefit from this is LaMelo and Lavar. I don't think LiAngelo is good enough to play in the NBA after one year overseas. shyt it might be LaMelo too if he don't learn how to play organized basketball and play defense

Hell
Alot of cacs in this thread, mad that they won't get to see these kids play for free anymore

When other dudes play overseas it's all good, Bruno caboclo was drafted off a VHS tape in Brazil

But when it's the ball brothers it's oh no, Lavar is messing up their chances :mjpls:

Also lavar removes his youngest from what lonzo is going through, he wants the money bit not the cac criticism that comes with it. I think lavar is saying goodbye to the American media.

And lonzo could ball way better overseas, lavar can build a empire overseas. Away from the racist, agenda driven american media.

Tha Land
Are you guys serious?
Publicity alone will get these guys signed in no time. Bidding wars from Europe to China. Sports networks will show them so long as Lavar is still on CNN.

They have a facebook show. Whatever team signs them will have their names ringing out for years on end.

You guys keep saying he's dumb. His 16 year old is about to make more money than all y'all did by 25.

There's nothing dumb about this, it's just different. Liangelo about to clear one million in the next 4 years he would have spent at UCLA. And get a head start on his actual career. But y'all stay questioning them. They chasing and holding the bags while y'all hating and questioning the style.
Money isn't everything, and basketball only lasts a very short part of your life. That's IF they are successful:comeon:

what the heck is Lavar doing? Going from overseas to the nba is not easy. In fact, it's hard as hell. The path would have been much easier from college. Also playing overseas, the game is totally different.
*looks at the amount of garbage draft-n-stash players drafted every year*

*with the 28th pick of the draft, the San Antonio Spurs draft Semo Buzango Mbowa from the Republic of the Congo*

bums get drafted from overseas all the time, and you thinking a top 10 ranked player wont? again, Mudiay played like 7mpg in China and still went 7

Lamelo > Rubio

and the angle you are trying to use about competition doesnt really work. Melo played well against top ranked schools last year. Went head-to-head with Oak Hill, Zion Williamson, etc..
Ricky Rubio is a 10 year nba veteran. Lamelo plays ball at the local 24 hour spot. Gotta slow down.

Oak Hill and Zion Williamson’s AAU team do not compare at any level to professional basketball

That's stan logic. Take the BBB glasses off for a second. It's pretty clear
how the fukk is it stan logic? Brandon Jennings and Mudiay went overseas, barely played, and were STILL drafted in the lottery. players get drafted every year in the lottery from overseas. you dudes arent making sense and sound closed-minded

Mudiay played over 30 minutes per game :dahell:

LaMelo will likely still get drafted unless he looks like pure unfiltered garbage over there
