Lonzo Ball said he thinks his brother LiAngelo's decision to leave UCLA "is a good decision." Ball said the entire family came to an agreement "that was the best thing for him." "I have been at UCLA but I didn't go through what he is going through," the Lakers point guard said of giving his input. "It is tough leaving whether he plays or not in their hands. You are just waiting to hear and just sitting around. So just trying to take action and that is what we did." Ball said he will support both his brothers, LiAngelo and LaMelo, if they end up going overseas to play basketball. "If they are over there, I wish them the best," Ball said. "And if they do go, it will be a family decision."

@Absolut any of you dudes claiming Lavar yanked Liangelo out of school :hhh: you were wrong. just like I predicted.

Alot of cacs in this thread, mad that they won't get to see these kids play for free anymore

When other dudes play overseas it's all good, Bruno caboclo was drafted off a VHS tape in Brazil

But when it's the ball brothers it's oh no, Lavar is messing up their chances :mjpls:

ricky rubio
He was a prodigy over there already. He knew how to play with grown men because he was trained to do it. Lamelo plays with 40 year olds at 24 hour fitness who let him cross them over.

Rubio was also pass first and didn’t play heavy minutes until he got to the nba. Lavar/Lamelo will be looking to shot 25 times a game playing 30+ minutes.

Lamelo > Rubio

and the angle you are trying to use about competition doesnt really work. Melo played well against top ranked schools last year. Went head-to-head with Oak Hill, Zion Williamson, etc..

I was gonna respond to some of the awful takes on here....

but it's gonna be funnier just to watch some of these ride-to-die stans progress down the levels of losing on their own. :takedat:

Just so you know, the stage you in right now is "denial."

Anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance come next. Gonna take some of ya'all YEARS to get to acceptance. :yeshrug:

Don't they know European teams can only have a limited amount of American players... no team will want 2 American chuckers on the same team :mjlol:

wait what :dwillhuh:

There's an American quote limit :dead:

It's a general international quota. Basically, since some of these countries have small populations to recruit players from, if they let everyone play outside play then their own national players might not even get roster spots and team that tried to develop the country's own players would be at a disadvantage.

USA has 300,000,000+ people so we don't have to deal with that problem. :yeshrug:
