I actually enjoyed my time there. They had us in the back unloading trucks. Brehs was thirsty to get done so they could stock the shelves and peep the illinois state university chicks that would shop there:pachaha:

My cousin is a outbound head manager they had a meeting two weeks ago with the Walmart head bosses saying this and also saying a lot of employees want to transfer to the newer buildings to keep their job but this article says the same thing
Exclusive: Walmart laying off hundreds of US workers at five e-commerce fulfillment centers

Don’t have to lie about a fukking Walmart laying off employees :mjlol: And they are building a new high tech warehouse Indy due to the one that burned down but i guess my cousin doesn’t know what he’s taking about :mjlol:

Then I hated it cuz I thought I was stuck there but looking back now I feel that I liked that place, I was there for like ten years. I went there straight outta highschool. I never needed to go clubbing, I would get numbers while at work. I started in garden for like a year and the rest in the photo department, I had it good there… U being a truck unloader was tuff, moving all those boxes and pulling the pallets to the floor… we use to smoke on our breaks, assistant manager almost got me, he was u ok? U don’t look right… told him I was feeling sick :russ:… I went in there the other day and this dude I worked with was still there, no cap I think he saw me and was trying to avoid eye contact with me but I rushed him. He told me he was department manager, it’s not much of a raise but u get mornings with weekends off… he then tells me Walmart took away department manager positions, fukked up part that little raise he got for being department manager, they took that away from him smh.

Another sign to have your passports ready.

When the economy collapses in the U.S. you will have delusional people that will lose their mind because they never thought such a thing could happen in this country.

Black people should have the option of getting out of this country (at least for a little while) open.

Learn a new language. Get yourself ready.

There’s still a ton of hiring for tech jobs, it just depends on what you do. Sure, the giants are laying off but all of the value is in the data right now and trying to integrate this unstructured ass data that’s coming from all of these different systems. EVERY company is trying to do this and it’s hard as fukk. So a lot of people are going to need to recreate themselves but the opportunities are still out there.
