Not meSo why are people complaining about this already not being like sekiro? Lol
I will say this just looks like Dark Souls 4 , I’m not really seeing innovation besides the jump button and the open world , but I’m with it

Well it’s not called Dark Souls
it’s called Sekiro
you set your own self up by expecting something that was never designed to be that way

Elden is the next Oblivion right?
I'm down since Skyrim is so damn old. Hopefully it's just as good, if not better. And we should be able to chop off limbs
Edit: This is a whole different game, was wondering why folks brought up from and bamco. I'm thinking Oblivion. That means better graphics and combat. Gone have to look into this more![]()
More like dark souls in an wide open world...
Meh i like my souls games to be RPGs. I don’t care for the hammering of swords together non-stop

I liked sekiro but it was limited in comparison to the souls games. Didn’t have much choice in weapons or playstyle, so the combat got repetitive over the course of the game.
Part of the appeal in souls games is the variety play styles and strategies. I hope Elden ring more like the souls games than a more focused action game like sekiro

Got nothing to do with not wanting change. The variety came in the form of your sub-weapon use and abilities, along with taking stealth approach or going all in and whatnot. While yes, it doesn't have different "builds" like an action RPG because it was a sheer action game, rather than an RPG. At any rate, you TOO sounding real Nintendo Stannish right now. Ole, "I only like my games one way", ass.

In the souls games you could play a fast ninja style character if you wanted to.
Sekiro was just stripped down and focused on one build.
I enjoy a variety of playstyles and challenges over the course of a long game.
Once you mastered sekiro combat you pretty much mastered the game.
The souls games make you learn new skills or find new equipment to succeed.
Only cause you didn’t have the grappling hook which imo made it cheap cause you could always just grappling hook and run away. Made the regular encounters and even some of the mini bosses a lot less impactful.Souls games ninja builds ain't have shyt on Sekiro's true ninja status.
