These Lebron and Curry comparisons are offensive to me. That nikka will never be better, much less in the same league as Lebron. Curry shoots 3s and does nothing else. He's the very definition of a one-dimensional player. Once his shot is gone, he's utterly useless. Same can't be said about Bron.

Also, Curry has only been good for 2 season and ya'll wanna compare him to Bron, who's been exceptional since he arrived in the league?! :wtf:

:dame: Nah.

Impossible because you believe it too. That's why you keep responding and still can't seem to find that real rebuttal. :mjpls:

Hol' up. No one can run an offense like him. Being a great passer doesn't even begin to convey what he brings to the game. His size should impede his ability to run an offense, not help it. Dirk is 7'0'' and can't rebound. 'Bron plays guys his size every night and he still does numbers. He's not a walking mismatch like Shaq was. 'Bron can score in a variety of ways. His turnaround jumper is actual money. Finishing at the rim is also a skill that some don't have.

Curry is a big guard. Most guards are 6'0''. He's 6' 3''. Curry is a great wide open shooter, and that's where his "skills" end. He spends all night running to screens and running from defenders because he can't make contested shots with any kind of consistency. Simma down.

You're low-key talking out of your ass right now.

1) Saying LeBron can score in a variety of ways is kiiiiiiinda true. Let's not pretend as if he's a jump shooter. He's first and foremost a guy that will get the majority of his points in the paint and around it.

He's never shot above league average from the 3 pt. line in his career. Mid-range, he was shooting worse than Kobe (:mjcry:) this year.

2) The average height of an NBA point guard is 6'2".

3) Steph's skills don't end at his wide open shooting. I'm actually ashamed to be on a board where you posted this trash and two other people dapped it. Steph led the league in steals, scoring, and was 10th in assists. But ... None of those things take actual skills according to you. :mjlol:

Nah, he's not a jump-shooter. His jumper is about as broken as it gets, but he has that turnaround jumper. He's a decent post player. He's hot and cold with the 3. :wtb: He shot above average (31.5%:NBA.com/Stats) for 11 of his 13 years in the league, including 40% from 3 in the 2012-2013 season: NBA.com/Stats. I don't ever remember him being more than trash from mid-range.

:dwillhuh: If "average" is 6'2'' (it isn't) and he's taller, that makes him a big guard. :snoop:

:dahell: Harden led the league in steals too. Both he and Harden are trash defenders.

:ohhh: :mjlol: What's "10th in assists" worth when you're also "10th" in turnovers: NBA.com/Stats. What's 6.7apg worth when you average 3.3tpg? That's 2 assists for every turnover. CP3 averages 4 assists for every turnover.

I will say this, as far as "skill", I meant shooting. Despite his turnovers, he's great at running an offense, which makes him a great player in my eyes. That said, he's not in the same stratosphere as 'Bron in that category or any other. He doesn't deserve to be compared to him and doesn't belong in the same sentence with him. I'll edit my post accordingly.

How do you know that, and how is that stupid? You don't compare Curry to LeBron from a career standpoint because one is just beginning his while the other has already done enough to be crowned top 5 all time. The comparisons between them are just in recent seasons.

That's just it, Curry is "just beginning" in his 7th year. Most of what Curry is doing now, 'Bron did in his rookie year. He averaged close to 30 in his 2nd year and 31 in his 3rd: NBA.com/Stats. Before this season, the closest Curry got to 30 was 24: NBA.com/Stats. 'Bron didn't have a stacked team in his 7th year. Curry wouldn't make the Playoffs with some of the teams 'Bron led to the ECF and Finals. Curry will never catch 'Bron. I don't care how many rings the league gives him. Rings don't mean you're the better player. I don't care what Jordan says to prop himself up (Jordan is a beast for other reasons). Rings only mean you were on the better team. And that's only when you got a ring legitimately. The league has given away rings plenty of times in many different ways.

It's offensive to me too, and I'm not even a 'Bron fan. I'm just a bball fan.

He ain't better than him now either:

'Bron is better at running an offense than anyone in the entire Association right now and 1 of the greatest of all time right now at that.

He's a better scorer than Curry. He doesn't spend all game running to screens and running from defenders out of fear of having to shoot a contested shot. He has a consistent turnaround jumper, 3, post game, and slash game. Will have more points than Curry at the end of Curry's career.

He can do more than Curry can with less talent around him. Dray is the MVP on the team. Iggy won Finals MVP.

It's not a debate. Why are y'all struggling with this?
