Why would we compare Lebron's first 7 years with Currys

Because the pic in the OP is comparing career TOTALS not AVERAGES so you're giving Lebron 3 more seasons of numbers to add on.

Your argument is that he's somehow entitled to the advantage since he came straight from high school because he was that good.

That has nothing to do with making an fair comparison. Especially since this way it adds the titles he won in the last 2 years. I shouldn't have to explain why having more years in the league put him in the position so win those.

That being said Lebrons numbers would still be better :manny:

What's crazy about saying Curry > LBJ this year

Nothing but when did we start comparing players after one season

Statistics for dummies

Rate Stats are better than count stats because they allow you to make comparisons when the totals are different.

People aren't even making fair comparisons with this meme (& the one circulating comparing Zeke to Curry). If you're going to use stats to compare at least use them correctly.

Steph has had a better year than LeBron. He's been better. No shame in that.. he's amazing.

LeBron was better every before that...even last year. He was coasting last year with on a new team, new coach, new teammates

Still put up 25/7/6 in the regular season and 30/11/9 in the playoffs (Finals 36/13/9).

Curry had a great year putting up 25/8/4. Playoffs 28/6/4 (Finals 26/6/5)

This year Steph has been better. Had an all time season. Would be an interesting finals.

I'm just of the belief Steph has only been better THIS year. Not the last two...

All the time. You can rank guys for their performance in a single campaign

I prefer season to season player rankings over all else b/c then you aren't carrying biases from previous years that have nothing to do with how a player may regress in the current, or how another guy may drastically improve.

Lebron after all said and done..will be better than Kobe and Curry in the history books. Lebron wll be mention with the 3 monsters of the game like Jordan, Kareen, and Lebron himself. Kobe and Curry will be in the 2nd bracket with Shaq, Magic and a few others.Balievedat.

Is this what you a Bron stans tell yourself before you go to bed?
