Because the pic in the OP is comparing career TOTALS not AVERAGES so you're giving Lebron 3 more seasons of numbers to add on.

Your argument is that he's somehow entitled to the advantage since he came straight from high school because he was that good.

That has nothing to do with making an fair comparison. Especially since this way it adds the titles he won in the last 2 years. I shouldn't have to explain why having more years in the league put him in the position so win those.

That being said Lebrons numbers would still be better :manny:
If Curry was good enough to have more years in the league, he'd have more years in the league. Why is that difficult to understand? Lebron has a lot more mileage because he is that great of a player

lebron grew up in poverty in a single parent household, works hard and uses basketball to take his mother and himself out of poverty = gets made fun of for it

curry's the son of a former nba player who has millions of dollars and access to coaches, trainers, facilities = inspiring, great role model for the kids

dont get the logic

That's one way to think about it

Another way is Lebron is 6"8-6"9, 250lbs and has been bigger, stronger and faster than most boys his entire life. With even a modicum of work ethic, he was going to dominate in sports.

Steph is 6"3 (he's really 6"1 1/2) and was likely 5"10-6"1 through high school, meaning he was completely undersized, which is why he went to Davidson. Unlike Lebron, he wasn't a behemoth physically and had to get to the NBA on pure skill.

I'd still rather build a team around Curry than LeBron.

You have no reason to believe that would work. His current team isn't even built around him. It's built around Klay and Curry and it still took the Triangle and playing no one in the Playoffs for him to get to the Finals. Take those bigs off the team to set those moving screens and he's not even Korver. You can't build around a guy who spends all night running from defenders.

Hol' up. No one can run an offense like him. Being a great passer doesn't even begin to convey what he brings to the game. His size should impede his ability to run an offense, not help it. Dirk is 7'0'' and can't rebound. 'Bron plays guys his size every night and he still does numbers. He's not a walking mismatch like Shaq was. 'Bron can score in a variety of ways. His turnaround jumper is actual money. Finishing at the rim is also a skill that some don't have.

Curry is a big guard. Most guards are 6'0''. He's 6' 3''. Curry is a great wide open shooter, and that's where his shooting "skills" end. He spends all night running to screens and running from defenders because he can't make contested shots with any kind of consistency. Simma down.

Lebum fans could cry all they want but the truth is his team got spanked last year by the warriors
So all that greatness wasn't enough to beat curry and the warriors :umad:

Stop. I'mma stop you right there. It doesn't matter.

Being 6"8 and 250lbs puts you above the competition 99% of the time.

I was good at 5"9. If I was 6"5 or 6"6, I would have been embarrassing nikkas.

It's the same reason why coaches will throw a 6"10 nikka on the team even if he's uncoordinated. It doesn't matter. Teach him a few moves and he's better than 98% of people he's playing against.

If you wanna bring up Steph being rich vs. Lebron growing up poor.....I can easily bring up Lebron hitting the genetic lottery vs. Steph being the height of at typical 6 foot Coli nikka but, having enough skill to make it.
