Jordan was obviously older and Lebron was young, energetic, and was jumping out the gym. Lebron was a legit basketball prodigy at an age when Jordan was getting cut from his high school team. If Bron cooked that day it was nothing less than what he was SUPPOSED to do,


Jordan is STILL the basketball standard and Lebron is STILL the closest thing to a legit usurper we’ve yet to see as far as legacy. I know some would argue Kobe but lets keep it real, Lebron James was BORN to play basketball. If somebody leaked a government document detailing how Lebron was constructed in a lab i’d believe that shyt.

First 3 or so years Bron is very different from what he became style wise.

Outta HS the comp was a Kobe Bryant/Magic Johnson hybrid.

Just for context, Jordan didn’t get cut from varsity because he was a bad player. You don’t go from being a bad player to being the best player in the state. In those days, height was more valued and the coach went with a big man.

No...a 16 year old is absolutely not supposed to cook in a gym full of pros. Not attacking you personally, but this is the problem with Bron discourse and really basketball discourse in general.
