your logic doesn't seem to factor in the relative effectiveness of the teammates as being a reason LeBron could afford to focus more on the defensive end. Lebron has almost always given the ball to teammates they just have to do something with it.

No he hasn't. He gives them kick out passes when his drives are stopped to get assists. That is not giving the ball to your teammates. He reduces his teammates to spot up shooters. His teammates almost never get to handle the ball and create offense for themselves or others.

There's a difference between actually getting to touch the ball and do something with it than being reduced to a spot up shooter. LeBron gives his teammates spot up opportunities. He typically doesn't give them the ball.

That's why him and D-Wade never meshed well together. D-Wade was not a spot-up shooter. His skill set was similar to LeBron which is why he had to give up his game for LeBron to shine in 2012-14.

Only two rings as the best player on the team

No. He was the best player for all 5 rings. Check the Western Conference Finals those years when the championship was really decided.

Kobe played better than Shaq against Portland in Game 7 of the 2000 WCF (that was the real NBA finals that year). In 2001, he outperformed Shaq once again in the Western Conference Finals against San Antonio dropping 45 points in game 1 of that series. And in 2002, he played just as good as Shaq against Sacremento.

Not even prime Wade and Bosh were enough to save Bron's legacy :sadbron:

How can anyone have him in their top 10 after he proved how mentally weak he was?

I knew he wasn’t a very bright cat..but that was ridiculous lmao

Or maybe you need to learn how to read. I may not judge players based on rings but society seems to. That is why I said "we" when I refered to who judges based on rings. And then I cited the example of Tom Brady. Also when it comes to Jordan, the first thing people say when arguing he's the GOAT is the 6 rings.

I judge players personally based on my evaluation of their skills and ability. Go and look up my list of the top 10 players in NBA history: My Top 10 Players in NBA History

You'll see I have guys like Tracy McGrady in my top 10. Nobody who uses rings as a criteria for judging players would have a guy with 0 rings in the top 10 all-time. But I do because I rank players based on skill and ability.

With regard to my first post on Kobe's 5 rings, that was in direct response to someone who posted his stats from game 7 in 2010 against Boston. That was basically saying that regardless of the stats he still won the championship so fukk off.

by definition that is still giving them the ball. again you are not considering the play of others as a factor in LeBron's response.

one could even suggest your thought that his teammates don't get to handle the ball or create actually makes them look worse. as according to you they only have one role, that of a spot up shooter. a role which it could be argued they often fail at.

also in any team scenario someones talent/opportunities will be reduced. even in the situation you are trying setup to increase the opportunities of the other players would mean to decrease the opportunity of stars. The challenge as I see it, is not to increase everyones chances but to increase overall team efficacy.

Let’s say this silly assessment of Lebron’s game was true, what was different about it last night? Who else beside Lebron really handled the ball last night? The only other 2 players on the Cavs who halfway got to handle the ball other than Lebron were Love and Hill and they both had subpar nights trying to create for themselves. Other than the few baskets that love and hill created combined, everything else was off of “bron ball” like it usually is. The difference is like the other poster said, the role players were hitting shots and finishing plays this game that they weren’t in the previous 2.

Again, you’ve offered no evidence supporting your bullshyt point. Who else got to handle the ball and was successful at creating offense with the ball last night other than Lebron?

4 straight finals on the back end of wade’s career including back to back rings isn’t meshing well? You just don’t know the game dude. Your threads are an embarrassment.
