The cavaliers were a good defense in 2015-16 though. Their defense slipped from 10th all the way to 22nd last year and a lack of any production from a backup at the point hurt them badly, especially on defense. That's a major drop, and not one they could win a title without fixing. Only one team has won the title in the last 25-30 years without a top ten defense to my knowledge, and those lakers clearly were waiting to flip the switch in the playoffs.
Yeah but my point is they would have still won the title With that porous defense if GS didn't exist. They can't change their team enough to beat that conglomerate out west, so all this who to blame stuff seems pointless to me.

lebron aint getting any more championships

he gonna start to fall off starting this season

at least they fluked their way to a championship last year

I don't think he falls off next year. :childplease: didn't fall off until he tore his achiles. and that was when he was damn near 35. lebron only turning 33 this season and he and kobe should have comparable mileage on their legs at the same point in their respective careers.

Honestly who could foresee KD going to Golden State?

The Cavs are the clear 2nd best team in the league and ran through the playoffs. The gap between them and GSW is just that big. Any other situation and he may very well have got his 2nd ring in Cleveland this season

What did he expect CLE to go out and do?

Trade away future 1st Rounders to appease a guy that's not locked into a long term deal with them? If Lebron got what he wanted, the Cavs would have been out there looking like the Brooklyn Nets with no 1st Rounders for the next 5-8 years. And after the moves were made and they lost again in the postseason, they would have watched Lebron leave along with Kyrie and Love eventually without picks to even start over.

This guy is selfish as fukk and will straight up renegade an organization's flexibility and future with the most short sited deals ever.

this right here is why I said a few years ago that when you sign lebron, you're basically making a deal with the devil.

It would be a 'Durant Move' version 2.0 imo

Would he seriously play for a fanbase that has hated his guts for the past 10 years not to mention you're going to follow in Kobe's footsteps:picard:

This ^^^

I would contribute to a crowd fund to persuade Bron NOT to come here... I am dead serious about that

Bron gonna be playing in that "system" if he goes to SAS. Would be interesting to see Bron play in a real offensive system with an elite coach.

Bron wouldn't accept averaging 15-17 ppg, which is what he would score on a normal team where a wing isn't that great a shooter.

in what world is lebron a selfish player? :gucci:

Nikkas were criticizing him from the jump for being a pass first player :comeon:
This narrative you made up in your head is crazy. You acting Lebron got mind control over nikkas. They didnt HAVE the play with him. You can make nikkas think of Lebron like YOU. All this shyt is opinion

There's no ball movement on the Cavs squad. It's simply LeBron driving every single play or Kyrie driving every single play and if the defense doesn't collapse for them, they kick it out to an open man.

That IS selfish ball.

Its set up so LeBron either gets a point or an assist every single play.

The other players are forced out to the perimeter and basically excluded from the game unless they can knock down last second jumpers with 3 seconds left on the clock.

Watch the 2014 Spurs-Heat Finals, see how much unselfish ball movement the Spurs are doing. Swinging the ball all around the arc for an open man. Letting everybody get real touches. Then watch how LeBron plays and really ask yourself if its the same.

Oh poor LeBron doesn't have the single most talented team in the league:sadbron:

Once he started the trend of shamelessly ringchasing in your prime, he was bound to be beat at his own game... Tough break nikka...Hunker down, show some goddamn resolve and try to overcome it..
On the other hand, that essentially means forfeiting GS the title every year...

No chance unless he goes to the Spurs or the Bucks
