We all know this. So what that said is bron the best player still?
Ima say no
Give them the touches/opportunities/involvement on offense and they'd do a better job of bridging that gap - a proper system which utilized their strengths, and not just simply being pieces around LeBron.Defense.
But I think Lebron's offense makes up for his defense.
I'm not so sure the same could be said for Love, Rose and others.?
A great amount. How much of an impact do you think Lebron can make defensively that would shore up the Cavaliers deficiencies as a team?
Ehhh I'm a Lebron fan, but O.P has a point when u think about it
Remember when KD busted Lebron's ass in the finals last year? His inability to play D was partly why they lost the finals last year

A great amount.
They're in desperate need of a leader on defense, because the majority of their players are more offensively-inclined, and LeBron's their most capable defender. Yes, there's the potential their offense might not be as great (in saying that, if you have a system where everyone is eating, then it's naturally going to be a better offense), but the margin will be eclipsed by how much better their defense will be. Defense is largely about belief and effort, and it's contagious if you're leader is out there leading the way.
Just like in the Finals last season, the Cavs didn't need LeBron to go all out on offense, they had more than enough players to pick up the slack. What they really needed was LeBron's defense.
Take Duncan for example, just imagine if he used all his energy on offense to fill up the box score, and didn't balance out his effort on defense in accordance to what his team needed. Yeah, he could've scored more, but at what price? What did the Spurs need from him the most, what was he strongest at that his teammates weren't so strong in?
It's all about balance.

Bruh kd bust everyone's all in the league

LeBron hasn't been the best player since 2014.
His run ended a long time ago. The media just stayed on his dikk and he's been hiding in the East where he's had an easy road to the finals. That has masked his drop off.
KD been the best the last 3 years.
Bron only plays defense in the playoffs now ..I thought we already discussed this![]()
2012 Lebron looked at KD like a Lion looks at a gazelle.
Last year Lebron looked at KD like a crocodile looks at a group of hippos
He's been leading the way offensively with that many miles (he just scored 50+ points the other night), I'm sure he could adjust his effort for a more defensive-orientated role.
That's fair.
Again, I'm just not sure how much a guy with that many miles can lead the way defensively.
He can kill two birds with one stone. He can take a backseat in scoring during the first three quarters, and ramp up that shyt up in the 4th.BTW, if you'll allow me to troll just a little bit, I can only imagine the coli threads if Lebron takes a backseat on the scoring. I think I saw one this week about how the man shies away from the last shot with the game on the line...
