He's been leading the way offensively with that many miles (he just scored 50+ points the other night), I'm sure he could adjust his effort for a more defensive-orientated role.

This is a poor analogy, but it's the best I can come up with right now - just imagine if you were part of a triathlon relay, you were a great swimmer, runner and cyclist, and your two teammates were both weak swimmers, but good runners and cyclists. Now in order to put the team in the best possible position of winning, you wouldn't make either of them do the swimming leg would you? Of course not. You'd take the responsibility of doing the role that the team needed most (that they were weakest in).

He can kill two birds with one stone. He can take a backseat in scoring during the first three quarters, and ramp up that shyt up in the 4th.

:manny:

The problem is that Bron ball and how his rosters are constructed means they're instantly worse than the 7-win Bobcats.

His defense is inexcusable though. Complete lack of effort staying in front of anyone, trying to do his roaming free-safety thing but leaving players wide open unless he can cherrypick a steal or chasedown block. He's had more of a load (and minutes) than any other player ever by a large margin, but they need to do something soon. Lue needs to be gone and they need to trade for a half-decent C like Dedmon, someone along those lines.

Which is why I've been saying for the longest that he needs to embrace a proper system.

The way the team is constructed is horrific.

They need to surround Bron with defensive pieces/two way players. Most of all they need a rim protector.

Love fukking sucks at defense. Net negative.

JR is washed. Net negative.

TT's ironman bullshyt has already caught up with him. Useless player right now unless he steps it up on defense. Net Negative.

Rose... will never be a centerpiece on a championship team. Just too limited as a player at this point in his career. Not that he ever was a high-level defender. Net negative.

Korver and Wade are what they are. Decent role players, WOAT defenders. shytty Cavs team defense leaves Korver on an island way too much. Guy is hapless against any decent NBA-caliber athlete.

The Bledsoe ship has sailed, but the Cavs need to start:

Rose (because who else is going to play PG on this lousy ass roster)
Shump/Someone they get from trading Love
Jeff Green
Bron (who needs to suck it up and play the 4)
And a rim protector they acquire from trading Love. Maybe Henson.

That team will be a way better than whatever the hell is going on right now.

LeBron hasn't been the best player since 2014.

His run ended a long time ago. The media just stayed on his dikk and he's been hiding in the East where he's had an easy road to the finals. That has masked his drop off.

KD been the best the last 3 years.

There's never a humongous gap between the the top 2-3 players anyway. nikkas acting like Lebron is better than KD by a wide margin are retarded. And the same goes for people thinking KD is way better than Bron. It just comes down to preference, what player you like more.
