All you're doing is proving my point. Those end of game shots are blameless and he is celebrated even when he misses them. Of course he'll take those.

He does not attempt full court shots at the end of quarters. He usually even has his back turned to the inbounder. Everyone here knows I watch a lot of Lakers games so don't bother lying to me about this. I remember him taking one all of last season and it looked like a total accident that he got it off before the buzzer sounded.

How is missing the last shot blameless when you're in this very thread holding his fg% on those shots against him? Taking the tough shot is why players of his pedigree get respect, make or miss, but they aren't blameless if the shot doesn't go in



And you remember every quarter in which a player does or doesn't take a last second heave from full-court, and you only remember Kobe taking just one all last season, is that right?

Point being is that he has never been known to protect his stats, which is why I believe you didn't respond to my point of him taking lots of shots late in the shot clock when teammates pass them up. That amount of those shots can kill a fg% more than 3-4 full-court heaves in a game ever could, but he takes them
