Exactly. These commentators trip me the fukk out. As soon as a player makes a big play he's all a sudden "one of the top 5 greatest...." Or a player hits a big shot it's "one of the greatest shots in NBA history"

Ya they weren't prime, but they weren't garbage players either. First year of Barkley and Drexler was a pretty good team, just couldn't beat Utah. But you really putting Hakeem in your top 5? He didn't have the greatest teams around him, Sampson getting hurt killed his chances early. But I still can't put him top 5.

Never...... until he proves he can dominate without having a team full of superstars and HOF's. On another team, Dwyane Wade would be a rival to Durant and Bron, as the best SG in the league. Bosh would go back to being a top 5 forward on another squad. Ray Allen is the best three point shooter to lace up in NBA history, alongside Curry. These are his teammates. He can't win with a Pau Gasol or a Jason Terry or a Manu Ginobli or a Chauncey Billups....he has to have the BEST players in the league so his team is so lopsided, it's no competition.

Lebron's first ring had him dragging a crippled Wade, that was getting his knee drained after games, and a Bosh who couldn't even play for the better part of two series to a ring.
Last year, Wade averaged 15.9 PPG on 45% compared to Pau Gasol's first championship run averaging 18.3 PPG on 58% shooting but Wade was more helpful than Gasol right? How about Gasol grabbing double digit rebounds too?
Wade averaged less PPG, last year, than Terry did during Dirk's championship run.
