And last year he shot 45% from 16-23. In Miami he had wicked numbers outside of 3 feet. So? Why would you cherry pick one slice of hit 35yo year when overall his shooting #'s since 2013 have been fantastic?

This year LeBron only took 7% of his shots from 10-16 and 9% from 16-23, because AD was spending a lot of time in that area. So his midrange #'s fell off some from lack of use. But 32% of his shots were threes and he shot a nice 35% from that area.

Somehow the idiot thinks that averaging together a nice 35% 3pt clip on high volume with rarely-taken midrange shots at a decent but not great 39% clip tells you....I don't know.

Yup, the Pistons, Celtics, Bulls, Spurs, Warriors, really a bunch of wack-ass teams.

Bron ain't got them clutch highlights in the finals

:mjlol:

get gassed on an over the hill Celtics, baby bulls, soft Raptors led by bum ass Derozan, and non-chip contender Pacers who were equivalent to grit n grind Memphis at best

don't point to #s, watch the fkn games

How many clutch shots did he hit in 4 straight yrs vs GS???

the entire season based on his field goal attempts

he shoots about 73% inside of 3 ft and something like 36-37% outside of 3 ft
interesting, but how many shots has he historically taken within that 36% area compared to the other areas on the floor?

I did the calculations a few days ago but 35 to 40% of his total FGA come within 3 ft

It’s nothing weak about that move

On one hand if it works then it's effective...ala The Smitty

At the same time it looks so choreographed to the point where is basically gathering with the right hand looking down at the ball for awareness then going into the shooting motion

I've always said when Steph hit CP3 with the double cross that shyt was so funky that I couldn't hope to do better on my best day. Watching on TV you can see Lebron warming up to do that like everytime :yeshrug:

I always thought the point of the game was to put the ball in the basket.

This isn't even a matter of Bron as a player. Dudes is just saying his game is ugly but you got guys in here really offended

Love knows no bounds :russ:
I dont care that people think his game is ugly. what bothers me is the sense I get that some of the posters in this thread really think a person should change their game to be prettier. perhaps thats a sign of the times.

You've shifted the goalposts like six times now. :dead:

"LeBron can't score outside."

Proved wrong.

"Well, he can't score in big playoff games."

Proved wrong.

"Well, he can't score in big playoff games in the clutch."

Proved wrong.

"Well, he can't score in big playoff games in the clutch against good teams."

Proved wrong.....

"Well, he can't score in big playoff games in the clutch against good teams in the Finals."

Proved wrong. He looked best in the clutch during his BIGGEST Finals games.

Already down 1-0 to the Thunder and clinging to a 3-point lead with 1:23 left, LeBron hits a sick fadeaway jumper to stretch the lead to 5, then hits two huge clutch free throws up just 2 with 7 seconds left to seal the win:

Then in Game 3, up 5 with 4 minutes left in the game, LBJ scores 6 of 8 down the stretch to preserve a tight win:

Game 4, tie game with 5 minutes left, LeBron's leg cramps up, hobbling him....yet he still breaks the tie with a bank shot and then, with the game tied again and just 2:50 remaining, hits the huge tie-breaking three.

Facing elimination in Game 6 of the 2013 Finals, down 10 going into the 4th, LeBron scores 18 points in the final 12:10 of regulation, including the 3pt with 22 seconds left that cut the lead to 2, and then scores the go-ahead bucket with 1:43 left in overtime that gives Miami the win:

Clinging to a tight lead in Game 7 of the 2013 Finals, LeBron scores 8 points in the final 6 minutes, all on jumpers, including the clutch jumper up 2 with 23 seconds left that ices the game.

Game 7 of the 2016 Finals, LBJ scores 11 in the 4th including 9 of the final 12 points over the last 5:30 when they were down four.

Those were the biggest ones cause those got him rings. But you could also mention the game-tying 3 in Game 1 of the 2015 Finals (part of 11 fourth-quarter points), scoring 13 points in the last 7 minutes of Game 3 of the 2015 Finals to squeeze out that game, scoring 9 straight points in the final 3 minutes of Game 1 of the 2018 Finals to come back from a 6-point deficit and put them a missed Hill ft away from winning the game, etc. Even way back in 2007 he had great 4th-quarter performances against the Spurs in Game 3 and Game 4 and only barely missed each one.
