Kobe has beat Tim in the playoffs where it matters most. end of discussion for me. Basketball is the one sport where the most impactful players eventually win. Kobe has proven to be the more impactful player against Tim. The playoff record doesn't lie especially considering there was never a huge talent disparity amongst the squads. 2008 is a perfect example. Kobe outplayed Timmy and proved that his impact > Tim. Remember when people wanted to see Kobe vs. Bron in finals...well the WC playoffs was like that for Kobe and Tim and Kobe won.

Tim Duncan stopped guiding the Spurs since 2007. :camby:

Last time Duncan tried guiding the Spurs anywhere, he got locked down by Battier in the crunch.

It's been Tony's team and now it's Kawhi's.

breh..duncan has better #s than kawhi does right now..at 38 :camby:

lol Lebron stans breathing a sigh of relief that the debate has shifted in this thread. :whew:
:rudy:
Thread was dumb as hell to begin with.

Kobe stans need to worry about Kobe continuing to fukk up HIS OWN legacy with his HORRIBLE play.

Brons numbers this year still shyt on Kobe this year AND still shyt on Kobe's Career averages as well.

So you must rank Dirk ahead of Kobe?

We all said once his athleticism is gone, he would be Xavier McDaniel, and it's coming true right now. His Cam Newton like body language proves he's no leader and cant thrive during adversity. He needed Pat Riley, Wade, Bosh, and the Heat Organization to coddle him. 1 Ray Allen missed 3 away from having 2 iconic Finals choke jobs.

Meanwhile Kobe at 36 is still unguardable, with one of the worst put together rosters in the history of organized sports. (his FG% will improve once he gets more acclimated after missing the 2013 season)

Let's appreciate guys like Jordan, Kobe, Dirk, who can rely on actual skills when their athleticism fades away

:yeshrug:
WHAT legacy? I didn't want to throw out facts, but it appears the only way you Lakers fans will comprehend is when everything is thrown out there.

Kobe Bryant, without a HOF big man in his prime on the roster has a 154-150 team record as "The Man" and will certainly dip below .500 once this season drags out. He is not an easy guy to play with. He is a "winner" because he has benefited from having Shaq, Dwight, and Pau Gasol in their primes playing alongside him.

When those pieces were gone? He has ZERO rings and 1 MVP award (played most of the year without Gasol)

Meanwhile, Jordan never had a HOF big during his title runs

Dirk won a championship with an old JKidd and no offensive game Chandler helping him.

Jordan didn't win without HOF Scottie Pippen
