Nobody besides superstars take contest 3 point shots...

If you are not Curry, Dame, KD, Harden, CP3...you aren't taking contested 3 point shots...

Kobe's style of play had nothing to do with him winning rings...and Kobe is a terribe midrange shooter past 16 feet with shyt shot selection.

It has everything to do with him winning. If Kobe was not a deadly mid-range jump shooter, he wouldn't have had as much success playing with low-post bigs like Shaq, Pau, and Bynum.

LeBron forced Chris Bosh and Kevin Love out of the post and to the perimeter shooting 3s because he can't shoot like Kobe from the mid-range and needed the paint cleared for his drives. This helps his FG% but hurts the team's ability to win because all-star bigs like Bosh and Love are forced to change their games to placate LeBron's desire for stats.

Kobe's playing style is why Pau Gasol became a much better player alongside Kobe than he was before he joined Kobe. While Kevin Love and Chris Bosh both became worse playing with LeBron than they were before LeBron.

Uh... no....

Kobe plays on the blocks and in the pinch post like a post up player would...cause he is essentially a post up/midrange player.

Which is why a player like a Lamar Odom and Robert Horry was important to have...to space the floor. With Lamar Odom and Robert Horry...the Triangle is essentially a 1-4 out.

Kobe's insistence of jacking up midrange shots and spamming post ups...shrunk the court...which is why when Mike Dantoni became coach...he tried having Paul shoot 3s...to make room for everybody else...and that fukked up Pau's game...

Pau didn't play better with Kobe...his stats with Kobe and his with the Grizz are the same. The first full year with Kobe was his best season with the Lakers...it didn't get better after that.

The reason why Chris Bosh had to become more of a jump shooter because he was playing with Lebron and DWade and DWade can't shoot for shyt and in the end Lebron got him 2 rings...

Kevin Love loss weight and he was shooting 3s before he even got T'Wolves...and Lebron got him a ring...

Midrange/Post Up players shrink the court...

Which is why Dwyane Casey told Demar Derozan who plays like a poor man's Kobe to shoot more 3s...

Kobe Bryant's style of play cannibalizes court space.

The reason why Lebron James teammates have a lesser statistically output is because he is that much better than them and his style of play maximizes the overall team.

He got Shaq efficiency with Magic Johnson court vision...no sane coach would be like..."Okay Lebron...we want the ball out of your hands and let George Hill run the team..."

When Lebron played with someone that had some type of otherworldly talent...like a Kyrie...he let Kyrie do his thing. With Wade's first year with Lebron he did his thing.

Its funny how EFFICIENCY doesn't matter if it makes Kobe look good. Sure, Pau overall scoring didn't increase but his EFFICIENCY skyrocketed playing next to Kobe. Plus the fact his raw numbers stayed the same rather than plummeting (like we've seen with Kevin Love) shows that Kobe let Gasol play his game rather than forcing him to change. Something LeBron has proven incapable of doing with Chris Bosh and Kevin Love.

Pau Gasol's increase in FG% in 2007-08 when he was traded from Memphis to the Lakers is the clearest example of how Kobe makes his teammates better. Before joining Kobe, Pau was shooting only 50.1% with Memphis. He joins the Lakers and his FG% the rest of that season skyrockets to 58.9%. A leap of nearly 9%. That's an unheard increase in scoring efficiency. Clear proof of how much Kobe Bryant helped raise Pau Gasol's game. Pau Gasol Stats | Basketball-Reference.com

Over the next 2 seasons, Pau shot 56.7% and 53.6% from the field. Much higher than any season before joining Kobe. On Memphis, Pau FG% hovered around 50.9%. With Kobe still in his prime, he was roughly 6% higher. Kobe simply makes the game easier for his teammates. Pau Gasol's crazy increase in scoring efficiency playing next to Kobe is clear evidence of that.

Now obviously after Kobe started falling off in 2011 due to injuries, Pau's FG% began to fall back down towards his career average. But while he played alongside Kobe when Kobe was still the best player in the NBA (2007-2010), Pau Gasol saw a huge increase in his scoring efficiency. And this was very consistent for many role players. They saw career highs in FG% playing next to Kobe. You don't see that same sort of career highs for guys playing next to LeBron. Guys like Kevin Love have seen their games plummet playing next to LeBron while a guy like Pau Gasol saw his game get much better playing next to Kobe.

What LeBron does is force his teammates to take harder shots which is why they always lose in the finals or when they play quality competition.

Kobe on the other hand takes the hard shots on his team while he lets his teammates take the easy shots. That is why they almost always see their FG% rise playing alongside Kobe.

Its also why Kobe has more rings than LeBron.

Only one season with the Lakers Pau Gasol had 56% which is based on him taking less shots. Year before that on the Grizz he shot 53.6 on 14 shots. His full year with the Lakers he took 13.

Pau was in his prime and an up and coming player out west.

There wasn't a huge increase in his scoring efficiency...he just took less shots...

And why would Pau Gasol play any different, he was the all-star on the team...

And quite frankly I don't care how Pau Gasol play or how Kevin Love play...

It doesn't matter...they are lesser players...they should change...

Sports is about winning...if Kevin Love average 15 and 8 and Lebron was dropping 30 a game and they won a championship...who cares about Kevin Love...he couldn't lead his team to the playoffs...he got ring...

Great players making lesser players better doesn't exist in sports. It just doesn't. Great players provide the statistical output for the team to win by doing whatever is in their game. They don't make other players better. Lebron James is gonna be Lebron James any team he is on cause he is that much better than everybody else. He is in a year in and year out MVP Top 5 All Time Player...why would he acquiesce to any other player...

Kobe Bryant is gonna jack up shots no matter who he plays with.

Pau Gasol was the same player he was in Memphis..as he was on the Lakers...cause he did the exact same shyt cause nobody else on the team was better than him other than Kobe... and the best season of his career on Memphis ain't that much different than his best season on the Lakers.

Kobe Bryant's play on the court wasn't optimal and he had major efficiency leaks in his game that Lebron James just doesn't have because he's a smarter player and that much better.

Idky Kobe fans try to hide the fact that Kobe is a chucker that did whatever he want on the court and everybody had to live with it.

IDKY Kobe fans wanna act like Pau Gasol was so much better with the Lakers when for the most part he was the same player doing the same things he did in Memphis with the same statistically output.

IDKY Kobe fans try to make Pau Gasol's success Kobe's.

IDKY people try to criticize Lebron about how his teammates had to change their games when they weren't even near the caliber of player Lebron is.

It'll be different if Lebron was playing with Kevin Durant or Stephen Curry...but Kevin Love and Chris Bosh? :russ:

You can keep writing these long broken sentences with poor formatting as much as you want. It still doesn't change the fact that Kobe took a team with as much talent as LeBron has right now to back to back championships in 2009 and 2010.

Kevin Love (before he joined LeBron) had better stats and more accolades than Pau Gasol (before he joined Kobe). If Kobe could win 2 rings with a 2nd option worse than Kevin Love, what's LeBron's excuse right now for not winning 2 rings with Kevin Love as his 2nd option?
