Only one season with the Lakers Pau Gasol had 56% which is based on him taking less shots. Year before that on the Grizz he shot 53.6 on 14 shots. His full year with the Lakers he took 13.

Pau was in his prime and an up and coming player out west.

There wasn't a huge increase in his scoring efficiency...he just took less shots...

And why would Pau Gasol play any different, he was the all-star on the team...

And quite frankly I don't care how Pau Gasol play or how Kevin Love play...

It doesn't matter...they are lesser players...they should change...

Sports is about winning...if Kevin Love average 15 and 8 and Lebron was dropping 30 a game and they won a championship...who cares about Kevin Love...he couldn't lead his team to the playoffs...he got ring...

Great players making lesser players better doesn't exist in sports. It just doesn't. Great players provide the statistical output for the team to win by doing whatever is in their game. They don't make other players better. Lebron James is gonna be Lebron James any team he is on cause he is that much better than everybody else. He is in a year in and year out MVP Top 5 All Time Player...why would he acquiesce to any other player...

Kobe Bryant is gonna jack up shots no matter who he plays with.

Pau Gasol was the same player he was in Memphis..as he was on the Lakers...cause he did the exact same shyt cause nobody else on the team was better than him other than Kobe... and the best season of his career on Memphis ain't that much different than his best season on the Lakers.

Kobe Bryant's play on the court wasn't optimal and he had major efficiency leaks in his game that Lebron James just doesn't have because he's a smarter player and that much better.

Idky Kobe fans try to hide the fact that Kobe is a chucker that did whatever he want on the court and everybody had to live with it.

IDKY Kobe fans wanna act like Pau Gasol was so much better with the Lakers when for the most part he was the same player doing the same things he did in Memphis with the same statistically output.

IDKY Kobe fans try to make Pau Gasol's success Kobe's.

IDKY people try to criticize Lebron about how his teammates had to change their games when they weren't even near the caliber of player Lebron is.

It'll be different if Lebron was playing with Kevin Durant or Stephen Curry...but Kevin Love and Chris Bosh? :russ:

Went from being the primary option on a perennial lottery team, to the 2nd option next to the biggest ball hog (who never passes btw) in the history of basketball.

And his scoring didnt take a hit.......

Cant say the same for players who join lebron tho

Big difference, all those feature games that were over (or in the case of the final picture essentially over).

LeBron was pouting with the game still tied and heading to OT. That is not how Kobe or Jordan would have behaved in that situation. There was still 5 minutes left in a tied game. LeBron hurt his team by basically admitting defeat with time left on the clock.

Jordan and Kobe would not have allowed their teammates to see them giving up like that with time left on the clock of a tied game.

Kobe Bryant's Game 7 No Shot Pout the most selfish act in sports since Phil Mickelson's Ryder Cup equipment switch

You do know Kobe scored 25 points in the first half of that game 7 and his team was down 20 points?

Phil Jackson told him the only they could come back is if he got his teammates involved. And that's what he started to do. Kobe as simply following his coaches orders.

This idea that he quit is simply a lie started by Kobe haters and Charles Barkley.

This is what everyone forgets. I meant to bring this up in other threads. I didn't remember how much he had at half but I knew it was at least 20 and they were down like 15 and it ballooned quickly.
