I always wondered why someone as big as Lebron doesn't invest in themselves and design their own shoe like Buckshot did.
Did Buckshot made 65 million dollar a year without coming out of his pocket for market ing, manufacturing, property expense, payroll, and distribution? :ld:

LeBron would be in a better position if he owned the manufacturing and distribution of his own shoes than he would getting a check from Nike in the long run. The LeBron cosign from Nike is gonna make them billions. That 65 mil is a rounding error to them.

I'm sure that Lebron owned a volume shares or a small percentage of Nike along with his lucrative annual payment. I doubt the 65 million dollars is the sole benefit of his lifetime contract with Nike. There were full details of the contract that didn't disclosed to the public. Lebron isn't going to settle for a lifetime 65 million deal without gaining additional benefits from a multi billion dollar business. This the guy who owned a small stake of Beats by Dre and made a fortune after Apple purchased the company. He actually going to gain more than trying to compete in a tough athletic apparel market against corporate giants such as Nike, Under Armour, Addidas, etc.

SpringHill Entertainment

SpringHill Entertainment is another entity owned by James, and it’s his entryway into the filmmaking business. The name SpringHill comes from the Section-8 housing in which James spent part of his childhood. This company has produced shows as well as the upcoming "Space Jam: A New Legacy" movie that James is starring in.
