You dudes are sticking with the untrue narrative of Lebron being a mental midget. The Spurs clogged the lane and Leonard individually disrupted his shooting form. His teammates should had picked up slack. Wade is the one who deserves the criticism more than any player in this finals. He played lazy defense last night and was being too passive in the first half.

You mean Gregg Popovich used his same gameplan from the 2007 NBA Finals last night?:sas1:

He just replaced Bruce Bowen with Kawhi Leonard this time:sas2:

Bron's biggest weakness is his lack of an offensive arsenal. He doesn't trust his jump shot like most other top tier players do (Kobe, KD, Melo, etc). I said it last year and his reluctance is showing that much hasn't changed....Pop would have got fired at half time if his game plan to win a Finals against any other "great wing player" was to simply "let him shoot". They attached a body to KD the moment he stepped across half court. The constant sagging and crowding the paint forces Bron to look very hesitant and reluctant. Shout out to Jim Carrey in Dallas for laying the blueprint.

The first half defence was beyond poor. Almost every Spurs shot went in. They had 90% FG!!!! MIA nearly pulled a miracle to come back within 7 but Chalmers was given the rock and he never made the easy pass choosing to lose it like in the previous 2 games. 2nd half defence wasn't good either but the Spurs overall FG% plummeted but it was too late to reverse the damage that was done in the 1st half.

. Lebron didn't over think his shot. It was Leonard who took away his spacing that Lebron needed to comfortably release the ball in good form. Lebron couldn't even post against Leonard nor beat him to the bucket. It is hard to score successfully when a defender is sticking tight on you

The MVP did ok against him.....:troll:

I said this in the heat thread...

The nikka has spent time guarding 3 different Spurs players at various point....Running thru screens and all

He running the point, he playing small forward, he playing power forward as well..

And he is still getting shade thrown..:why:

He is slowly getting burned out....

Wade isn't getting half the hate and he spent like 20 games in street clothes... And he is still for the most part ineffective...

That team completely shuts down Bron goes to the bench

I used to be a bron hater, he gets my respect...

He would be the ultimate fool to take a paycut AGAIN...

Imagine if he had to go through the gaunlet of the Western Conference. Y'all making all these excuses for this man being tired. He's played a bunch of cupcake series and finally has to go all out and you mean to tell me fatigue is an issue?? I just watched bean pole KD play the most regular season minutes while his second best player missed a huge chunk of the season; play multiple overtime games in the playoffs; a seven game series; being guarded by the likes of Matt Barnes, Tony Allen, and Kawhi Leonard; all while Brooks running him damn near 48 minutes a game and not one of you pulled the fatigue narrative out. I don't want to hear that excuse from a guy who's only true attribute is his physical make up.

Im not disagreeing with you about the Western Conference part...

Lebron has enough to carry a team in any conference to a playoff spot just like Durant...

And he is getting ran to the ground just like Durant

Lebron wastes way more energy on defense than Kd and that's the difference.

KD was suffering from fatigue as well...I even said that

Every team that Kd was playing against didn't have the personnel to really make him work on D except San Antonio

Did you even see game 2? :what:

:what::what::what:This notion that LeBron does more and exerts more energy than any other player in recent history is complete bullsh!t and sensationalism. He definitely does a lot but it's no more than other elite superstars. Hell, until recently he's been doing less. That was the point of him going to Miami so he wouldn't have to carry the load and do as much:aicmon:. Plus all that "it's cause he plays defense" is just bs. Like Kobe and MJ didn't play ELITE defense :heh:smh. It is a proven FACT that this year LeBrons effort on d was at it's lowest level in years. All this blatant dikkriding and ignoring of facts makes me sick. Lebron definitely exerts more effort than the average player but don't act like he's trying more than all time greats like MJ:snoop:

How is doing what you are most comfortable doing an example of over thinking? :what: He is an unselfish player who truly believes in the team concept. He's not gonna try to just do it all by himself unless he absolutely has to. Passing and getting others involved to him is like scoring to Kobe. It's what he prefers and when push comes to shove he will always fall back on it...sometimes to a fault. The Spurs just got in that ass last night. When you score 25 in the first quarter and you are getting blown out ain't much to think about. :heh:

Did people not sensationalize Mike and Kobe's exploits? They still do so to this day. The biggest difference between Lebron and Kobe/Mike is that in addition to carrying the scoring, playmaking, and perimeter defense load he is his teams best rebounder and rim protector (that plays the whole game that is, looks forward to this being overlooked).

Lebron exert more energy on offense and defense than Kobe and Jordan ever did and it's not close. It's like he's Magic/Oscar on offense and Pippen on defense. You can't do that and expect to not get tried. Miami has Lebron doing too much because they are getting so little from the others.

:what: You do realize Jordan had a season where he scored 37ppg and won defensive player of the year. You do realize Jordan won rings at 34 and 35 years old right, scoring 30ppg and winning Finals MVP. LeBron isn't doing anything any other great hasn't been asked to do at some point. Its the burden you carry if you want to win rings.
