Bron haters have to make up new statistics that literally no one has ever quoted in order to justify their obsession with Bron.
Lebron has 197 points in the clutch this year (leads the NBA by nearly 30) and is shooting 56% in the clutch (better than anyone else in the top 10) and 65% from the line in the clutch (which sucks, but is the exact same as #2 Westbrook and unlike Westbrook, is practically the same as what he shoots the rest of the game). Lebron is also 4th in the NBA in clutch rebounds, 3rd in clutch assists, and top-20 in clutch steals and clutch blocks.
All that combines to Lebron's teams being +87 in the clutch, dominating over anyone else. He literally scores more in the clutch than anyone, at a higher percentage than any other high-volume scorer, while his team does better than anyone.
He's having the best clutch season in the NBA this year and you can't touch him on that, so you have to make up random cherry-picked stats that include
free throws he missed on purpose to desperately try to justify Skip Bayless narratives.
Edit: Not to mention that this is the regular season, as if Lebron hasn't made one gigantic shot after another in the playoffs, including the sealing free throw with 10 seconds left in Game 7 of the NBA Finals (even after landing on his wrist). But no, the haters leap from "regular season doesn't matter" to "some random cherry-picked regular season stat from a single season is THE PROOF!"
