Magic went 0-2 from the line with 30 seconds left in an elimination game in the 1981 playoffs, Lakers lost the game when he missed the game-winner too and are eliminated in the first round.

Magic went 0-2 from the line with 30 seconds left down two in OT in the 1984 Finals, Lakers lose the game and eventually the series.

If Magic Johnson, who everyone recognizes as a GOAT and who was a great free throw shooter, can go 0-2 from the line in crucial moments in crucial playoff games twice, how does it define Lebron that he missed 1 free throw (after making one) in a regular season game?

Why would a career 75% free throw shooter like Lebron has some sort of mystical "makes free throws by willpower alone" ability in the clutch that a career 85% free throw shooter like Magic or MJ didn't have?

I don't know if him missing those two define his career but historically, he's a below average FT shooter.

Is this about Lebron being a slightly below average free throw shooter (true) or about Lebron supposedly having problems stepping up in the clutch (pure idiocy)?

Like I pointed out, an 85% free throw shooter who goes 0-2 more than once in the final seconds of a huge playoff game is much more likely to be "choking" than a 75% free throw shooter who goes 1-2 in the final seconds of a regular season game. Yet Magic retired without being considered a choker, and it would be incredibly stupid to label Bron that way when he's done even less to deserve it (and has FAR more receipts on the opposite side too).

I thought it was about him missing two FTs.

Not tryna cape for Bron, but y'all act like dude is a great ft shooter as it is..

Bron shoots 74% from the line for his career. The league average is 75% which makes Bron a below average ft shooter. I totally expect him to miss every other ft shot.

Bron isnt a choker but hes missed a bunch of clutch free throws like every other player ever but its magnified for him.

Magic was called tragic all year in 85 until they won despite him having 2 rings already at that point

LeBron hit two FT's with 4.6 seconds left in the game.He then made the 1st of 3,then missed the 2nd.He basically shot his average(75%).Should he have made all 3? Maybe. However,at what point does fatigue become a factor?...Cedi starts at the point, but we know who the pg really is(Lebron 11 asst).Green starts at PF,but we all know who the real PF is(Lebron 11 reb)...I'm gonna give Lebron a pass for missing that FT for the simple fact that his teammates missed a bunch of wide open shots, and it was the 2nd game of a back to back on the road.

BTW:Every great player has missed clutch FT's....At the same time,Lebron needs to improve his form and get in more reps.

Then shut the fukk up talking bout him being the GOAT. You can't be the best if you have such a critical weakness. The inability to hit free throws in the clutch is not the sign of a guy who is great at all.

Kobe and Jordan had NO WEAKNESSES. The fact you readily admit LeBron has such a critical weakness proves he's simply not on the same level as the true GOATs Kobe and Jordan.
Quote me calling LeBron the GOAT you fakkit. I'm not even trying to do a back and forth with a certified Kobe groupie ass nikka.

Give his body and athleticism to Kobe or Jordan and they win 8-10 NBA titles.

LeBron is like Shaq. He's underachieved given his God-given gifts.

He should have accomplished a lot more than he's accomplished.
This bum ass nikka came up with a garbage scenario that can never be proven as his argument. I don't know why you keep putting Kobe and Jordan together. Nobody does that but Kobe Stan's.
