That should be Will Smith too.....if you're throwing in Denzel but yet Denzel has a ball to play a bad guy in Training Day......while Will Smith didn't.....He's playing the "Hero", "Good Daddy", etc. I'm getting tired of Will Smith. Will is a good actor but one dimension too.

Imagine if Will Smith in Flight movie?.....Imagine if Will Smith in Training Day?.....Imagine if Will Smith took the deal in Django Unchained but he can't because he had to doing f*cking Men In Black 3....are you f*cking kidding me?...I'm getting tired of him.

Agreed, and Will Smith can definitely rival Denzel in terms of charisma. Seeing him play a well written villain would be INCREDIBLE

Cosign this, Denzel is definitely a great actor, but he really hasn't taken many risks in his career. People might try to point out "Hurricane" or "Training Day" but if you compare him to Leo he REALLY hasn't done anything risky

Do you think White Hollywood is really offering Denzel diverse scripts like Leo? :usure:

I agree...not the GOAT, but he's been in many of my favorite movies (The Basketball Diaries, Romeo And Juliet, and The Beach come to mind).

Also, you do know he's a big hip-hop head. He's had Wu-Tang and Outkast play at his birthday parties in the past.

Seems like a really cool dude too.
Romeo and Juliet :wow: one of favorites of all time. That shyt will bring you a lot of slick gay comments tho. nikkas don't even realize how much if a goon Leo was in that movie tho.

Lets not make this a race thing, when you get to Will Smith or Denzel's level you basically decide whatever movies you want to appear in

And when do you get on that level? After you've built a *niche* and pigeon-holed yourself for 15 + years

And the best Cac actor is either Robert Deniro, Sean Penn, Gary Oldman or Daniel Day Lewis. Leo isn't even in the damn discussion :russ:

This is a dumb ass debate you and I are having. You don't think Will Smith or Denzel could make a decision on whether or not to start playing villains any time they wanted? You realize they are headliners, right? :dahell:

For certain kinds of movies they can get approved for but Will/Denzel aren't touching as many scripts as Leo, Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp

Will Smith is a already "STAR", he can do whatever he wants but he's playing to "Safe" with his image as a “family friendly entertainer,”
all cares about "$$$" and wanted to put his kids in the films. He will do Hancock 2, will do Bad Boy 3.....aren't you getting of this sh!t?....It seems he's worrying about his image. There are many great actors playing villains and they still respect them because of their talents.

In my opinion, Will Smith is more overrated than Leo and Denzel and even Samuel. But on the resumes Samuel, Leo, Denzel>>>>>Will Smith's resume.

I'm telling ya'll...Jamie Foxx is out here KILLING it.

There's a reason why Quentin wanted Will Smith cause he knows Will would murder this character....even Smith loves Django Unhained screenplays.....and I believe he would too but I think he's playing too "safe", fronting about it....I believe he's regret it. That's why you have everybody sh!tty on "After Earth". Honestly, Will makes a bad habit for picking scripts.

Just thinking about it.....you have co-stars Will Smith, Leo, Samuel, Waltz, this would bring $$$ and everybody would remember Will's role with Django and would have more respect for him but he choose not to. Jamies surprised the shyt out of me but he has "gully" looking on him unlike Will but I believe Will can pull you have :to: than Jamie can.
